MTSkiBum 1,606 Posted January 4, 2008 Take the money line on the steelers, you wont need the spread. I know my signature may take away from my credibility on this pick, but i believe it! Also seahawks -3.5 looks good, everyone is on the redskins bandwagon, the skins have covered the spread every game collins has been QB. This spread is scewed because of that, and because of the fact that Redskins(and GB) are the teams that people are rooting for that dont have a playoff team, this also skews the line, That and everybody is betting on Redskins(On the Herd earlier today they had a vegas bookie on and he said that 75% or so of the bets so far are on Washington). The line should read Seahawks -10 or so. But if that was the case there would be WAY to many people on the skins and an upset would hurt bookies. This game just screams bet the house on the hawks. kcBlitzkrieg 18 Posted January 5, 2008 2 Units Each Was/Sea 1H UNDER 20 Lots of rain/wind is expected for the game. With weather & conservative game plans Im looking for a slow start for the game. Pittsburgh +2.5 Everyone is on Jacksonville, roughly 72% of the public and the line movement has reflected that. I realize all signs point towards the Jags but Im taking the value for the home dog and the fact that this is the Jags 2nd trip to Heinz field this season. art schlichter's bookie 0 Posted January 5, 2008 Jax dominated the line of scrimmage against Pittsburgh last game. Why would it change? Lean Seattle at home, I think they can hang 30 on Wash by passing the ball to set up SA.

mark32esu 18 Posted January 5, 2008 I keep asking myself if I'm crazy enough to bet against Pittsburgh at home in the playoffs, but imo they are just too banged up to hang with the Jags. Too many key injuries are going to hurt Pitt too much. Don't forget their defense has given up 28.5 ppg the last 4 games of the season. Pitt is limping into the playoffs while Jacksonville is rolling. I'll lay the points.

NFL Post Season (Posted/Unposted) 2-0/3-0 Tenn +10 Even with the Titans recent rash of injuries they are a team that is going to keep it close. I don't trust Turner or Rivers and while the Chargers have the talent to win the game the Titans should be able to keep it closer than 2 scores. Tenn 1H +7 Tampa 1H -1.5 Small play on the Buccs...should pound the ball early & often with Graham, Gruden is the better coach in this matchup and I like them to be up a small margin at the half. We will see what kind of effect the Pats had on the Gmen & if they can recover, unlike most teams this season the week after their NE matchups...not counting them out for the game. edjr 5,784 Posted January 6, 2008 When the fock did you start betting I haven't made a real bet since the Giants lost to the Ravens in the pooperbowl, but these were my "bets" this weekend 50% so far, I'm down 10 bucks
GiantsRule 0 Posted January 6, 2008 File this under "looks too easy so it's guaranteed to lose": Total punts in the Bucs-Giants game Over 10.5 (+115) I think the over is the underdog wager because a lot of casual bettors are assuming the Giants will continue the offensive explosion from last week. The Bucs defense is sick at home and their offense is almost as pathetic as they are good. By all counts, this should hit midway through the 3rd quarter. So since it makes sense and I'm taking it, the game ends with 10 punts on the nose. Bank on it!
