Eagles Green 34 Posted February 5, 2008 I'm sure the Cowboys will be favored to win the NFC. But once again, the underprepared QB will choke.

The Moz 69 Posted February 5, 2008 If you don't know who in here would ? IMO in the AFC : Colts Pats Jags Steelers all contend in the NFC Giants are a tier above anyone else. Green bay Dallas Carolina - if Delhomme is healthy should contend as well. I have a rematch of the Pats / Giants next season

KSB2424 3,087 Posted February 5, 2008 why do you say that? Lack of Experience + not choosing your coaching staff = Disaster I've always been a big Fassel fan. Dude got to the Superbowl with Kerry freakin' Collins. This year he was scapegoated for the lack of offense from the Ravens, but when Fassel was let go and Billick starting calling plays the offense actually regressed. Also, I always respected the guy when during the middle of the season with the Giants he went to management to ask if he was going to be let go at the end of the season and was told YES they would make a change. Jim still stayed on and finished out the season for his players (the antithesis to Petrino). Shows alot about character right there.
Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted February 5, 2008 Is anyone surprised that the Patriots did not open at 18-1?
surferskin 30 Posted February 5, 2008 Lack of Experience + not choosing your coaching staff = Disaster i don't necessarily agree. it's pretty late in the game and it's not exactly like he'd have the pick of the litter to find his own staff at this point. Shows alot about character right there. i don't think fassel would be worst choice. actually, i thought he was the BEST choice before gibbs decided to shock everyone and come back in 04. i guess, it's a little worrisome that he's about the coldest candidate the last couple of years. besides the redskins, i've never heard his name with any other job openings. while i think that they could certainly do worse than fassel, i just feel the potential of a young coordinator like spags, has a much higher ceiling than fassel. then again, i could be completely wrong.
