Larry David 20 Posted April 9, 2008 Everytime I mention that Favre is a little drama queen somebody on here always jumps to his defense. But let's recap. First he retires the day after the Patriots signed Randy Moss. Coincidence? I don't think so. His agent lets it be known that he was surprised the Packers didn't even try to talk him out of it. Then a story appears in the L.A. Times that Favre is putting out feelers about playing next year. His agent acts surprised about the story but then it's revealed that he was the one planting the rumors. And now? Favre is saying that he would come back and play for the Packers if he was needed because of an injury which bascially means that all of Wisconsin is going to be rooting for an Aaron Rodgers injury. On top of all that, he still hasn't submitted his retirement papers. Either play the game or actually retire and move on like everybody else. Stop being such an attention wh0re! Spinner 0 Posted April 9, 2008 Not a big fan of the Fav Fronting...but he is one of the few players that has retired that still has a lot of talent left...he ought to play some more. He could oust a lot of starting QBs now.

If you think he did not make his decision before the Randy Moss thing and knew what he was going to do...you are an idiot. Either way...how does that make him a drama queen? B. His agent has been refuted by nearly everyone including Favre himself when he spoke and said it was his opinion that the Packers did not do enough. C. His agent has refuted that...as has Favre. If his agent did do this, at this point, it appears it was without Favre knowing that...again, how does that make him a drama queen. D. The question was asked of him that if Rodgers got hurt early on and McCarthy called...would he come back. He answered. Again...how does granting an interview with his long time friend who writes for the Biloxi Sun-Herald make Favre a drama queen. He did not say that he "would" come back. Now you are just lying. Seriously...the drama comes from idiots like you who keep bringing up crap that is either false...or just plain stupid. The media pumps it all out there because they know people will read it...they know ignorant fools like you will overreact...and they know that people who have any clue will respond and smack you back down. Larry David 20 Posted April 9, 2008 You're an idiot. Show me a quote where it has Brett Favre saying he'd come back. You read a second-hand quote from some friend of his. All Brett has said is that he's retired and not coming back. You're the only drama queen around here, and I emphasize queen. Here you go idiot! Notice that the friend you mention is the friggin' writer himself!! Brett Favre made the quote directly to the Biloxi Sun Herald . Read thoroughly next time j.o. Brett Favre told Biloxi Sun Herald writer and close friend Al Jones that he would consider returning to the Packers if they needed him due to injury. "If that opportunity presented itself and they did call, it would be tempting. And I very well could be enticed to do it... I'm sure mentally, I would be refreshed. I'd be away from it for a long time. But mentally vs. physically, the last thing I'd want to do is go up and it's 'Oh this is great and all that stuff and me be excited and then just flop," Favre said. Now crawl back into your Brett-loving hole.

Dude, I agree with all the Favre fans here (Cowboys fan myself), Favre is, was and will forever be one of the best to ever play the game. Will he debate the retirement situation over and over in his head? yes. When you love something so much it is terribly hard to let it go.No, I am not an NFL player myself, not big enough, not talented enough. But I understand the thought process because I do have the heart to play and the love for the game. It only makes sense that he may wonder if he made the right decision, leave the guy be. If you want something to complain about, talk about one of the (many) knuckleheads in the NFL.Not one of the greats.

O.K. He said he would "consider" coming back and I stated that he "would". Got me on a technicality. Didn't realize this was a court of law. My point is that he creates drama and this absolutely creates drama. Imagine your Aaron Rodgers. You've had to wait three years to get a shot at the starting job and now that you have it, the guy who's shadow you've been in for those three years announces that he might come back if you get hurt. Great. So now if you get injured you have to deal with the fact that you might lose your job to the legend again. And you know damn well that if Favre comes back and plays well, Rodgers is back on the bench no matter how healthy he is. I don't think that's fair to him or good for the team. Either you're in or your out. Remeber a couple of years back when Favre made the Packers wait forever before deciding whether or not he was coming back. Then one day he announced that he had something important to say and the media scrambed to find him only to find out that he was just using the opportunity to publicize his charity event. Who does that crap? And I know you're going to say, "Who cares? He helped a charity.", but I bet the Packers didn't think it was too funny. Either put the helmet on or shut the f up. Why doesn't anyone call CJ a Drama Queen? If you don't like it, why do you write about it? CJ gets called a lot worse than a drama queen and he gets bashed all day every day. I don't hate Favre and respect what he's meant to the game but he does crave attention. What aggravates me is that when I call a spade a spade I get jumped on. If I called Pacman Jones a dirtbag no one would argue it. If I called Phillip Rivers a big-mouth no one would argue it But I call Favre what he is and the Favre lovers bash me. Its not a technicality...its a statement of fact. He did not say he would (that would be a lie). My point is that he creates drama and this absolutely creates drama. How did he create this drama? Did he force larger outlets to pick up a story he did for a friend in the Biloxi Sun-Herald? Its not like he called up the USA Today...or ESPN...and said...you know what, if Rodgers get hurt, I think I could be enticed to come back...why don't you all run that tomorrow. I remember the one time he took til just before the draft to come back. He never announced he had something special to say (another lie of yours). He held his regular press conference for that charity event...as he had in year's past. No...you don't know what I was going to say...because you were completely wrong. The Packers did not think much of it...they thought...hey, Brett is doing his usual press conference for his Tunica event...just like he did last year. Guys like you crack me up; On the one hand, you biitch mercilessly about all the Brett Favre will he/won't he stories. Then on the other hand, you read every single focking story as if you're life depended upon it. It's like the jagoffs on ESPN who -for the past five years now - spend 10 weeks filling airtime babbling about Brett Favre (when BF hasn't said a word during that 10 week period) then on week 11, biitch about hearing so many Brett Favre stories. Well assmunch, you're the one who's spent the last 2 and a half months talking about it, I think we know how to stop that. I mean honestly, I know you're just fishing - which is sad in it's own pathetic way - But WTF do you care if he comes back or doesn't? I mean, the only individual who MIGHT have a case to biitch is somebody who sold their season tickets on the notion that BF is truly retired. And they deserve what they get for being a fuckface of a fan. WTF does it matter to you personally? How does any of these stories cause you real personal pain, financial loss, emotional distress, whatever the fock it is that makes people like you whine so much about this? He comes back - great. He's fun to watch. He doesn't come back - fine, thanks for the memories. The Pack isn't making any special accomodations for him, so WTF does anybody care?? WTF else is there to care about? Stupid focks like you who breathlessly read and track down every rumor, every 'net posting, every blog entry, every inane ESPN speculative commentary - THEN biitch about hearing these stories? It's like bittching that your eye hurts and saying "Please God, somebody make me stop stabbing myself in the eye with a fork!" Never understood all the stupid focks like that. - And ESPN is at the top of the list.
