Ride it out with Derek Anderson ?

Is it a slow start, a tougher early schedule, a fluke year or all the above ? What are you Anderson owners planning for the immediate and long term future ? Ride it out or not ?

Not to mention he's played Dallas and Pittsburgh in the first 2 weeks. Most QB's would struggle out of the gate against those teams.

Then he gets to go to Baltimore for week 3. Is this how the year is going to go ?

 

I might only get to start him in both Cincy games and hope for another shootout like last year's.

If not the toughest, it's pretty damn close.

 

That's why a QB from the AFC west (rivers or Cutler) was the way to go this year.

 

Look at who they play? Including Chiefs/Raiders 4 times

Precisely. Even going into the season he was carrying the "overrated" tag, so his trade value has been low from the get go. Given the weather conditions last night, neither he nor Roethlisberger (playing against a sieve defence) were likely to light it up. And now his trade value is even lower.

 

Hopefully you have a decent #2, so you can stash Anderson on the bench until the Browns offence finds its rhythm.

Exact same scenario as you.....came out of the draft sky high. Had the upside of DA doing what he did last year with Hass as my safety net as he is consistent in the mid-20's TD passes when healthy, but that was 7 WRs ago. Schaub is on waivers, hope everyone forgot about him cause of bye week. Schaub may be my only hope to get at least 200 yards and a TD production out of my QB.

i really hope the browns turn it atound. i picked qb's late. derick anderson did nothing week #1. aaron rogers dd good week #2. edwards, winslow, lewis have to come around.
