You do have to agree that Jacobs getting hurt would make Ward a potential low end #1 back and

Jacobs only started 9 games last year and has a history of injury even though he is larger than life.

 

So, why is it stupid to assume that an injury could possibly shut him down for some weeks this year

thus giving Ward the opportunity? OK, maybe I didn't say it in the most politically correct way but c'mon

The point of the conversation was to spurn some discussion about the value of Ward if (when)

Brandon Jacobs were to go down with injury that he is prone to do.
