Hey Phillybear

Recommended Posts

Just spotted the Observer, sporting a sharp hat, at the news stand, as that guy lost his face.

We really need to retitle this to the Official Fringe Thread, I'm thinking.

Anyone else remember how Irina Derevko walked into CIA headquarters in Season 2 or 3, I forget which one, and turned herself in, saying that she would only speak to Sydney Bristow during the JJ Abrams series Alias?

We just saw the same thing again.

Goin' old school, nice!

I don't mind setting the old VCR to tape shows, especially when they are scheduled to run over and TiVo doesn't pick it up...

That is interesting, the DVR allows you to alter your recording time.

Well I don't know if they are having that problem now, but I have heard times where if a schedule was changed to run a couple of minutes long, sometimes it didn't get picked up...

But that isn't the reason I never got TiVo/DVR, I just never wanted to get it...

Sure, it is a commitment, but I think it's worth it. Nowadays, people give up on shows too quickly. Hell, I pity those that abandoned Lost during the filler episodes of Season 2 and horrible Season 3 early episodes. Since then, it's been a joy to watch every single minute of Lost. The pace has been incredible with reveals, plot advancement, and subplots.

That was me. I loved the show, but gave up on Lost after the fillers. I had standards, so I thought. So now i'm watching this season and have no idea what happend in the middle, except for the summary in the beginning of the season. I read your summary last week and that helps also. You do a really good job of it by the way. Just wish I would have watched so I could find and understand all the little things that make the show that great. I keep going to the movie store, and seasons three and four are always out.

I'm watching FOX waiting for Fringe, and can feel myself getting stupider by the moment. :dunno:

The Observer was sitting in the audience at the beginning of American Idol. :dunno:

Very solid episode last night. The serial killer was a rip off of Dexter, and who doesn't love that? The kid was a miniature Observer, and why was no one able to figure that out the whole focking episode.

So, we know the Observer's appear in every episode, watch stuff, like very rare roast beef or live animals they catch and gnaw on, water without ice, live underground, and lack enough vitamins for hair and pigments. They seem to be telepathic in some way and can foresee the future, but don't interfere.

Checked the tape from the VCR and it looks like it cut-off too soon... Guess I will catch the ending on FOX.com later...

Very strong show. I felt spoiled having Fringe and Lost on TV on back to back nights this year.

Alternate universes. Since Fringe did it first, I'm sure that means LOST will not be doing that.

After I watch the first season again, it might be time to start thinking about mini Fringe writeups week to week.
