Corky76 2 Posted July 31, 2009 FFtoday is one of the 11 pros on this site and nobody is even mentioning it on here! Heck it's less than $10 a team and if nothing else it's good to do a draft or 2 for a mock and who knows, maybe a $250,000 paycheck! Here is my team drafting from the 10 hole: QB: McNabb, Delhomme, Shaun Hill (yeah my season depends on McNabb staying healthy) RB: CJ, Grant, LJ, Ray Rice, McCoy, M. Bush WR: Andre, Bowe, A. Gonzo, E. Bennet, Robiskie, Mason TE: Olsen, Shiancoe K: who really cares? D: Vikings, Bears I'm happy CJ slid to me and was able to get Andre on the turnaround. I was SHOCKED to see LJ sitting there in rd. 7 and couldn't pass on him.

Corky76 2 Posted July 31, 2009 Why did you take two defenses? Rookie mistake. The 2 guys I targetted in rd. 15 got taken just before I was up. I was doing warp mode that time where the comp. picks every 5 secs. and you only get 30 secs. per pick so I ran out of time trying to figure out who I wanted. That was what it gave to me in auto pick.
Grizzly 0 Posted July 31, 2009 I've been doing some mock drafts over at yahoo and LJ is consistantly available in rounds 6 and 7. I think that will change as opening day closes in. I've signed up for the Rapid Draft but have not drafted yet, I'll wait till after I see a few pre-season games.
skittles 0 Posted July 31, 2009 Picked this thing back on May 21st (for free!) From the 4 spot, and not feeling all that great with it, but who knows: QB Jason Campbell (Horrible, I know) RB Matt Forte RB Reggie Bush WR Roddy White WR Eddie Royal WR Devin Hester TE Jason Witten Flex Darren McFadden K Rob Bironas DST Steelers (I did not pick my K or DST early, I swear. Don't remember how this happened) BENCH QB Sage Rosenfels QB Tavaris Jackson RB Fred Jackson RB Leon Washington RB JJ Arrington (whoops) RB Glen Coffee WR Derrick Mason (whoops again) WR Laveranues Coles WR Chansi Stuckey TE Zach Miller Like I said -- it was free. So who knows. I doubt I'll even remember to keep up with it.

skittles 0 Posted July 31, 2009 Oh yeah, don't I know it. I remember waiting and waiting on Quarterback -- but it doesn't appear I picked up much value anywhere else. Not sure what I was doing. Although I still love Sage Rosenfels, and I'll keep saying it till he throws 4 INTs in his first start.

I you could get some free agents to replace Mason and Arrington week 2. QB's your problem. Not sure why you picked the 4th spot to draft from it seems like one of the harder spots. It was free to you though. Good Luck.
nordwave 2 Posted July 31, 2009 I tried doing the "free mock", but it asks for my credit card for $7.99. That doesn't sound free.
zees 0 Posted July 31, 2009 Nord, I tried it out too. Emailed their support and they are working on it. I'll let you know when I hear something. As for the $250k, I know its guarenteed, no matter how many people sign up. I imagine it will take off once football season gets closer.
BobSanders_33 127 Posted July 31, 2009 I drafted a team last night. My original plan was to go LT, Bolden, and P Thomas with my first 3 picks from the 5 spot. I was surprised when Brees fell back to me so I picked him up. Brees LT, Ward, LJ, M Bush, Fred Jackson, Ladel Betts, Jerome Harrison Bolden, Berrian, Ginn, Josh Morgan, Chris Henry, Mike Walker Gates Minn, Chi Elam I know that team doesn't blow people away but I have Morgan, Walker, and Henry as guys that have potential to be solid 2/3 WRs. I also really like M Bush and Betts (if Portis goes down).

Mike MacGregor 20 Posted August 8, 2009 I like Fred Taylor as a solid depth guy, and good value right now in drafts, but wouldn't feel good with him as a regular starter. I think he could easily get the majority of RB points out of NE, but they probably rotate quite a bit still and it will be tough to figure who will be the guy in any given week. Fred has never caught the ball that well, or been a big TD guy. Why do you think Burelson is going to do so well? He isn't someone I've given much if any consideration to. Gladiators 1,987 Posted August 8, 2009 McNabb, Eli, Bulger Slaton, P. Thomas, F. Jones, F. Jackson, L. McCoy AJ, Welker, D. Avery, C. Henry, P. Harvin, E. Fred has never caught the ball that well, or been a big TD guy. Why do you think Burelson is going to do so well? He isn't someone I've given much if any consideration to. Mike, Burelson was doing really well last year in Seattle before he got hurt. They say he's having a good camp and has recovered nicely. If Hasselbeck is back to normal, and TJ getting doubled I think he could put up good numbers. I'm not saying he will be great numbers just a good value for a 14th round pick. I'm not good with projections but here it goes 80-880 4-7td's. Fred Taylor I think is the best RB on a high powered offense. The best offense he has ever been on. In 1998 he had 44 receptions for 421 yds and in 2002, 2003 he had 49 for 410 yds and 48 for 370yds. I think he can catch the ball Jacksonville just never used him that way much. Those also happen to be the years he had a lot of rushing yards also. The problem is there are too many running backs on that team to make a good guess on how they will be used. Your right in that he has never been a goal line runner Sammy Morris still has value. Also I think Kevin Faulk is a great 3rd down back. Taylor is older now and his opportunities will be limited, so I'm just not sure what to think of him. But his upside looks good.

VJax in the 6th and Olsen in the 7th Rice in the 8th??? all could have easily gone a round before that so awesome job. My Free Team QB - Schuab, Hass, Orton RB - Tomlinson, Ward, Felix, M.Bush, Betts WR - Welker, Jennings, Royal, Walter, Robiskie, Schillenz TE - Olsen, Fasano Def - Ravens, Jets K - Hartley made a mistake early taking Welker over a RB2 like Ronnie Brown... especially with some decent WR's there in the 4th and 5th.
