pipeman 16 Posted September 19, 2009 Last week I should have started him, but got talked out of it. This week, I'm thinking that "Never bench your studs" theory gets put to the test. I'm benching SJax, who could actually end up as my #4 option behind Sproles. Sjax still considered a "must start" by anyone?

PATSSOX 22 Posted September 19, 2009 i really like Ray Rice but i just traded him and Santana Moss for Steve Smith and Jonathan Stewart i was probably a little quick on the trigger cause i think he is a stud but too late now and i like to trade
veebs4 2 Posted September 19, 2009 Probably going to start Ray Rice over Forte after their start...tough to do, but I can't trust that whole offense yet.

tbone138 6 Posted September 20, 2009 I don't know if M. Barber is considered a stud anymore but I am benching him in favor of Rice. Barber has been shut down by the giants the last 2 times they played.
Chrisw33 1 Posted September 20, 2009 I am starting Dmac as my #2 in one league and rice is on the bench. Doing the same thing! Running with Gore and DMAC Rice is on the benchola

16 and 33 0 Posted September 20, 2009 Over Kevin Smith v. the Vikings I would never start him over Turner if it came down to that regardless of matchups I like Ray Ray a lot this year, but just remember this: 14 career games, 168 touches, and 1008 all-purpose yards as a part-timer is impressive 0 TDs is not
TennisMenace 156 Posted September 20, 2009 Last week I should have started him, but got talked out of it. This week, I'm thinking that "Never bench your studs" theory gets put to the test. I'm benching SJax, who could actually end up as my #4 option behind Sproles. Sjax still considered a "must start" by anyone? IMO, there aren't that many studs to never bench. QB - Brees, Brady, Manning RB - AP, Jones-Drew, Forte (because he catches passes too) WR - Moss, AJohnson, Fitz, Boldin (when healthy), Megatron That's about it for me. Some other guys would be added, like SJax, but when you are on such a bad team, you may not get the ball much to run with it.
