RLLD 3,455 Posted February 27, 2010 My daughter had to create a project for her 3rd grade class, using a cereal box. We encouraged her to select a civil rights leader on her own, and take on the project on her own; using us as little as possible. Yesterday, just before the planned "event" for the kids to show their wares today, she brings us the cereal box. She had selected Dr. King, and created a new cereal called....."Dr. King Bites". My wife and I were and then.... She was distraught that we would not let her use it at the show today, and made her create another one.....it will be a few years before she can truly understand just why....
