Fenster 6 Posted April 21, 2010 I'm thinking they go LB first unless Spiller falls to them.
Portis26 0 Posted April 21, 2010 If Usi gets moved prior to tomorrow night, I see then going DE. Reese however usually sticks to the board and takes best player available
Fenster 6 Posted April 21, 2010 C.J. Spiller hadn’t heard a word from the Giants throughout the pre-draft process. No workouts, no visits, no indication that they liked him at all. Until they called him a few days ago to make sure they had the right cell-phone number in case they need to reach him Thursday night. And they might because, according to multiple team sources, the Giants are enchanted with the Clemson running back whom many scouts believe is the most dynamic offensive player in this year’s draft. He likely won’t be there when the Giants make the 15th pick of the first round. But those sources said the Giants could consider trading up to get him if he escapes the Top 10 and if the price is right. Spiller said “There have been a lot of teams calling” for his number, but he’d welcome a chance to play in New York because he believes he’d be “a good fit” with the Giants. He’s got blazing speed (a 4.27 in the 40 at his pro day) and is a dual threat (1,715 yards rushing and receiving last season). He is a dangerous kick returner, too. — NY Daily
Big Blue 06 195 Posted April 22, 2010 Unless the Giants take Rolondo McClaine or CJ Spiller with #15, I won't be happy.

ens189 1 Posted April 22, 2010 1.15- RoMac, Spiller, Derrick Morgan is also a possibility. 2.14-Brian Price 3.12-Sean Lee, Riley Cooper possibly 4.17- OL (Pat Angerer if they don't take Lee in the 3rd) 5.16- CB 6.15- RB 7.14- CB

Vor 0 Posted April 22, 2010 I know it's a little crazy.. but if we get to #15 and both McClain & Spiller are gone and there's nobody that screams value.. i.e Berry falling to 15 for some crazy reason we should call up the 'Skins and trade them #15 for Haynesworth. Low price over the next 3 years(cap friendly.. assuming it's back).. he's a good 4-3 player and we need help in the middle of the line.
Vor 0 Posted April 23, 2010 Kiwanuka, Tuck, Osi and now Pierre-Paul. Depth is good, but 4 guys for 2 spots?
Col.Walter.E.Kurtz. 0 Posted April 23, 2010 I'm not so sure this was the wisest pick for them. Great talent, but will he be the difference maker for them? I would have thought they'd have given Dez Bryant a look at 15.

I would have thought they'd have given Dez Bryant a look at 15. They are pretty well set at WR, IMO. I had read they coveted Pierre-Paul and I guess in hindsight Spiller or McClaine were a pipe dream. Also read an article that said an NFL source said SD moved up for R Matthews ar 12 because they were convinced the Giants would take him if he was there. According to one league source, San Diego was convinced the No. 15 Giants were all over Mathews and ready to pounce. `Don Banks SI.com

kutulu 1,547 Posted April 24, 2010 Barden might become forgetable. He has been extremely invisible. At least with Barden you can say maybe he needs a little seasoning as he was a rook last year...Moss, on the other hand, I don't know how is still in the NFL.
