The Jets are not stupid to do that. I still say he gets this deal before the first game. I'm just worried he won't be in game shape and he may not know the new calls or schemes they've added. That's my biggest concern.

actually, Revis is more valuable to most other teams than he actually is to the Jets.

 

do the Jets want to lose the best CB in the NFL? absolutely not but that defense could still easily rank tops without him. Cromartie and Wilson look good, Jenkins is back. Gholston is supposedly reinspired at DE and Brodney Pool was an inderrated addition.

 

Revis is probably my favorite player and it would be a big hit but not as if their D would crumble without him.
