I don't see what her showing the school ID had to do with it other than pissing off a few alumni. AFAIK Arizona State is a public university. Eminent domain dictates that she can show her ID whenever she wants, wherever she wants. That doesn't mean her actions won't offend someone and lead to her losing a scholarship she never had an inherent right to in the first place.
