Ray Rice is Invisible

Recommended Posts

No receptions, no goal line carries, what an absolute woman. If he can't score against Buffalo, his forecast for the rest of the year sucks anus. I would much rather have Ryan Torain... the guy is a warrior. Runs hard, gets 20+ carries per game. I am quickly becoming average with this schmuck. :wall:

He's just too small with no speed.. Hes a low end #2 at best.. 70 yard games is exactly what he's capable of.. Thats all youre gonna get.. I said it week 1.. Trade ray rice.. Bust of 2010.

He'd only get 70yds last year too, but he'd catch 7 balls a game. He is a waste. I should have known. F'n loser has cost me 3 games this year.

Is he hurt or something? McGahee has just as many touches today, I don't get it at all.

According to Rotoworld, MaGahee got the start to appease him. Guess they figured Buffalo would roll over and play dead but Harbaugh is eating a nice big sh!t sammich right now. Buffalo tied it up and they're heading to OT. I hope they focking lose.

I'm a Steelers fan so I might be a little biased.

Bad team management has probably cost you more games than Ray Rice has.

Trust me, Ray Rice has cost ALOT of teams wins, but so has MJD and some others....

True that. I just hate when owners blame one guy for their team's plight. If your team hinges on your 1st pick then that just suggests an owner doesn't know how to draft in the middle rounds.

I own rice and am fittin' to be 6-2... (DMac and Ahmed Bradshaw mid rounds ftw)

Yea, its pretty lame to blame him for your losses. FF is a crapshoot. Many of the top players are struggling. Without hindsight, who else would you have drafted? MJD, turner, rice, jackson, mendenhall, moss, dwill, fitz, jennings, andre johnson, colston, and a few more have all underperformed.

i agree as a rice owner i was expecting more so far but hell the 1st 4 games i knew he wouldnt do a whole lot but there are not a whole lot of players drafted top 10 that are producing like it

in my league Rice is a top 12 rb so can he finish as top 10 i think so

Some of those guys haven't underperformed. Mendenhall in particular shouldn't be on that list. Chris Johnson hasn't repeated 2009, but he's still the #3 RB in points scored. Turner and Jackson haven't underperformed by much. Andre Johnson hasn't underperformed too much, either. He's been a little banged up, but still ranks #11 amongst WRs...Jennings is starting to come on.

Rice and Fitzgerald are definitely two of the biggest busts. No argument there. Moss as well.

I went ahead and drafted him and I should have known better.

Boldin was going to vulture passes and when they kept McGahee I should have realized he was going to steal TD's.

But this is much worse than I thought if McGahee is going to get 10-14 touches

In my league (.5 ppr, bonus for 150 yards) ray rice has more points than everyone listed except chris johnson, who in retrospect, shouldn't have been on the list. He also has more points than miles austin, desean jackson, calvin johnson, marshall, colston.

In my league, turner has 90ish points and rice has 92ish. Maybe our leagues scoring is quite different, but it seems interesting you say turner has only slightly disappointed yet seem to suggest that rice has been more than slightly disappointing.

I have Rice and MJD and I'm 6-0 with a chance to go 7-0 depending on tonight's game.

It's a keeper league so things are different, but good team management can overcome a lot of problems. So can a little luck

I think the big problem is that people expect their #1 RB to put up monster numbers every week to rescue their team like LT did in his prime.

The reality is that players like that come along very rarely.

A person should draft their #1 guy and expect him to put up top 10 numbers for his position at least 60% of the time, and one or two game changing performances per year.

to expect much more than that may be unreasonable.

as a Ray Rice owner, I've been reasonably happy with what he has done when healthy.

I expect his weaker numbers are a desire by the coach to prevent him from wearing down and to make sure he is okay after sitting out a game due to injury.

as the season progresses and the games become more important I would expect he will get more touches.

RR was targeted 30+ times the last two games, which probably warranted the low amount this week, especially against the bills. I think they game planned for around 15 touches, but the game was close. He still had 18 targets this week and after the bye this will go back up.
