Lion Fan 0 Posted October 27, 2010 10 team redraft 2nd round : Mathews 3rd round: Greene I remember looking at the draft board thinking "damn my rb are awesome!". Lol. We start 2 rb's and I had only 1 rushing td from my rb's after 6 weeks!!! I'm so lucky to be 4-3.
idlewild 6 Posted October 27, 2010 Keepers: Shonn Greene, Fitzgerald, and Bradshaw (OK) My first pick and the #1 pick overall? Ryan Mathews.
FenixTx972 2 Posted October 27, 2010 Leaving the draft with a backfield of Ray Rice and Shonn Greene, I felt great...
jerryskids 6,795 Posted October 27, 2010 The thing that bugs me the most was Smith NYG late in the 2nd of IBL. For those unfamiliar with that league, it is very WR-heavy and he was going in that range in other similar drafts. He's been serviceable I suppose, but in the 4th I had Nicks available but gee, I already have Smith so I don't want two Giants as my top two receivers, so I'll grab... Dwayne Bowe#@! Then 5 picks later I took Pierre Thomas who had dropped. Just a sequence of events that has had me scrambling since. But my biggest phail has to be: - Helping my 14 yr old son do his first FF draft in a fun league we started. - Helping him tweak his roster over the season. - Noticing this past weekend that he was hit hard by byes and suggesting some pickups. - Then, noticing he was playing me that week. - Then, watching him beat me. HawgWild 0 Posted October 27, 2010 Kolb in the 5th.. I did get Matt Ryan later thank God...
jerryskids 6,795 Posted October 27, 2010 Also#@! in that same league as above with my son, I took Stewart in the 5th. I sat there looking at the board, and nobody appealed to me. I was targeting Bradshaw and Foster later, both of whom I got, so Stewart has never sniffed my starting lineup. But he is like an albatross just sitting there on my bench. psychotical 0 Posted October 27, 2010 Stewart here too... What were we thinking about Carolina? Also my kid turned my computer off halfway and the focking auto draft took Mcnabb and Minnesota Def. for me at the turn around 8th or 9th round Like always though you can draft terribly as but make up for it with some great WW pickups and trades. MudDawgs4Life 6 Posted October 27, 2010 is this subject line a nod to jon lajoie? if it is, that's awesome. he rules.
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted October 27, 2010 Pierre Thomas & Kolb, although i did draft Kolb as the 13th QB off the board very late. I followed that up by not picking up vick since i had Ryan. Pierre better come back after the bye. I dont feel great about the Torrain/Wells/Hart/Forte dice roll every week.
cyclone24 1,913 Posted October 27, 2010 Hows this for ball kicking..... First 4 picks... Shonne Greene, Ryan Matthews, Beanie Wells, Dallas Clark. Basically gotten nothing from all 4. My rationalization was that Greene and Matthews should get the bulk of the carries on great offenses, with Beanie Being a beast at the end of last year, and grabbing the top tight end IMO. (We can start 3 rbs in our leage btw)
dream_team 2 Posted October 27, 2010 Taking Ryan Matthews with the #1 overall pick (keeper league). I always fall for rookie RBs, when will I ever learn my lesson?
