BLS 315 Posted February 17, 2011 yea. hopefully cxz keeps going down. So let me get this straight. (seriously) You're betting that this precious metals mining company is going to go down, right? Effectively you're betting against PM's. Right? Cuz if so....holy herpa derpa herp.

Effectively you're betting against PM's. Right? Cuz if so....holy herpa derpa herp. Not quite. I am actually very bullish on Uranium stocks but I think there is a weakness in one specific stock. Im looking for it to dip below the 2buck mark. Its down another -.3 in after hours trading and every cent it goes up or down its a 10k swing in my portfolio. If it drops back to 2bucks from the point i bought in it would be a 140k profit. Which would be enough to move up to the top 5.
WhiteWonder 2,982 Posted February 18, 2011 I sold and bought a stock about 2am but it isn't showing in my portfolio. Will I get the price they were at then,or not? That's a bunch of crap. Was at $30.25 when I put the order in and bought it, but it cost me $31.37 (EXXI) i would assume, as in the real market, that the order you placed when the market wad closed is subject to change based on the next days opening price. Which can fluctuate from the previous days close.
WhiteWonder 2,982 Posted February 18, 2011 2 weeks or so and im up 4.78%. Not amazing but i'll take it. the better news is that alot of my action mirrors real life trades i have been making, so .

kilroy69 1,271 Posted February 18, 2011 I ended the day up almost 7%. If this continues on the path I hope it will I should be not too far behind ya. And Cxz is down another 2 cents in after hours trading.
kilroy69 1,271 Posted February 22, 2011 Long story short "someone" is dumping Uranium to the spot market and its making the price fall. If this continues im taking that top spot from ya suxie old boy. Take a look at Cxz. Especially the 5 day chart. I feel a week of good returns for me ahead. Feb. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Uranium prices, which gained in every week of January, fell by 6 percent after the entry into the market of a "non-traditional seller," according to TradeTech LLC. Uranium-oxide concentrate for immediate delivery traded at $68.50 a pound in the seven days ended Feb. 18, down $4.25 from the week before, Denver-based pricing service TradeTech said in a Feb. 18 report. Ux Consulting Co. on Feb. 15 quoted the price at $72.25 a pound. UxC will update its price later today. Nuclear-power utilities buy the bulk of their uranium for processing into fuel from mining companies, with the contracts mostly extending beyond a year. The immediate delivery, or spot market, allows trading for delivery within a year and includes financial investors. The U.S. government also periodically conducts auctions to reduce stocks. "The entry of a non-traditional seller into the market looking to place over 800,000 pounds of uranium oxide triggered the price slide," TradeTech said, without giving details on the seller. "A lack of clarity and speculation about the true motivation for the sale provided momentum to the price decline." There have been "numerous reports" of Chinese traders seeking to sell uranium on the spot market, UxC said Feb. 15. Uranium prices, which reached a record high of $136 a pound in 2007 before falling to about $40, have risen since mid-2010 as China increased the use of nuclear power to curb emissions from burning coal. More than 150 new reactors are planned worldwide by 2030, with China planning 110 units, according to data compiled by the World Nuclear Association. Seven transactions for 700,000 pounds of uranium were completed last week, TradeTech said. A non-U.S. producer entered the market seeking offers for 300,000 pounds of the material, the pricing service said.
kilroy69 1,271 Posted February 22, 2011 Not in last place anymore thanks to a TEN % return on the day. Cxz is down 11 cents on the day and showing no signs of slowing down. They could easily shed .15 cents by the end of the day and once they drop below the 2.00 mark its gonna be on like donkey kong.

kilroy69 1,271 Posted March 7, 2011 I know. For not knowing jackshit, I'm doing pretty good so far. hell yea I would say a 22% return in 3 months is pretty damn good. If you keep that rate of return up its going to be really hard to catch you.

Hell more than half the players are to the + right now after 3 months. However it did take me from 22nd to 11th with my eye on the top 10 in the next day or 2. The entire sector was down today and when that happens CXZ seems to bear the brunt of it more often than not. Another day like this and I should be right on your heels bls. kilroy69 1,271 Posted March 8, 2011 You had a HELL of a day Kilroy.. WOW. tyty. I have been expecting the floor to drop out for a while now. With the way it looks like stocks are going to open up lower tomorrow and the fact that its at -.01 in after hours trading I am hoping to hit 1.80 at some point this week which would put me at a 300k profit. Which I will need because you and BLS are both killing it with the investment of SLV.

kilroy69 1,271 Posted March 8, 2011 While I have not been able to reach the lofty 19-21% that bls and Joneo I am happy with my returns today. Cxz lost another .-11 cents to put me at an overall 9% profit and in 3rd place. They are looking for another rough day tomorrow as they are -.3 (+30k) in afterhours trading. I suspect that tomorrow I should be at around 15-18% overall which is going to be right on the heels of the silver bugs.

kilroy69 1,271 Posted March 9, 2011 Tyty.I had been saying all along that 2.00 was the level that the floor was going to drop out and that 1.80 was my target price. kilroy69 1,271 Posted March 10, 2011 Nice day today buddy. Wow. How long that gravy train gonna roll? Haha yea when that stock moves I either make a ###### ton of money or lose it. I have had a massive 53% return off my onetime lows. My only worry is that now that its been so beaten down buyers will come in and pick up the price. Its up +.8 in after hours which could be a dead cat bounce or it could be people who see value at this level which would push it up. I am probably going to dump it this week. Its been on a nice run for me. On a side note you are looking to get crushed tomorrow. Slv is down -.23 in after hours trading. Could shuffle up the ranks a little.
