The Hood 9 Posted October 11, 2011 The Bears O-line is an focking abomination to the 90 or so great years of the NFL. Angelo, Lovie, Martz and Tice should be executed fired today for allowing that disgrace to be on the field. Hester was terrible. Dropped balls, running the wrong direction and fielding kicks while they head out of bounds. The defense plays ok until the unforgivable couple of huge plays again. For a "puzzy" and with the absolute crap he had to work with that was one of the better QB performances I have ever seen. Cutler made a 50+ point blow-out into a 1 score game. Congrats Lions fans your team is good. Bears suck. That was proven last night. Now I am not normally a douche or an annoying fock and this is kinda new territory to me so I want to get it right............ so instead being normal and "disapearing" and not talking sh!t about other teams because mine has shown to stink.................. the thing to do around here is to be like Swamp, the 3 Seattle stooges, etc. and start harping on the few flaws of the good teams that beat my team right? swamp dog 0 Posted October 11, 2011 er...the lions haven't lost a game of any sort in nearly a year, so i guess i haven't been harping on any flaws of a team that has beaten them but you'll get some good practice on that from here on out being a bear fan. enjoy. swamp dog 0 Posted October 11, 2011 and why is every bear fan i talk confused about why the defense gets gashed for big plays? who's your d-coordinator again? oh, that's right: rod marinelli. the guy has about as much creativity and is as predictable as a bowl of vanilla ice cream. get real. Very well said. I concur. The Tampa 2 Defense limited a high powered offense to 2 or 3 big plays. Take away those plays and you have what this was: a division slug fest. We can't keep asking our defense (or penalties) to bail out the team. This year's Bears are the same as last year's Bears without all the lucky breaks. At least this year we'll lose enough to get Angelo & Co fired so we can start rebuilding. It was really cool to see the Tigers and Lions playing meaningful games on the same day. I know it was good for all of Michigan. Barry Sanders speaking during the opening bit was cool too. The Lions are a much improved team and I like what Scwartz is doing to their defense. They aren't going to beat the Packers in the post season though, so enjoy it while it lasts guys.

Yes they should get someone fresh like Gunther Cunningham. They are running Tampa 2. Creativity is not needed. It is specifically designed to stop big plays. Problem is the Bears no longer have enough players who can play it right. The safeties stink, Briggs is not playing well, Urlacher is slowing down just enough and the D-Line is not getting enough pressure.
illini9825 7 Posted October 11, 2011 Dear Julius Peppers, The lockout is over and the 2011 season has started. It sure would be nice if you come back to the team because they sure could use your help. When you do decide to come back to the team, feel free to bring with you a defensive tackle, a couple of safeties, a couple of offensive tackles and at least two professional wide receivers. Thank you!
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted October 11, 2011 Run step up? One big run and you act like the running game is fixed? Actually, Best had runs of 10, 88, 11, 43, and 15 yds. 5 of his 12 carries were for more than 10 yds, and his last few runs were 'eat the clock and run straight forward' carries. (The run game is still not a legitimate threat though, that much is true).

donhaas 19 Posted November 14, 2011 well, that shut the bear fans up. guess they're all going to hibernate now for the next few years as the bears have no hope of anything other than third-place for probably years to come.

Thanks for the tip. Looks like Rod is capable. To return the favor............maybe Linehan could explain to Stafford which color jersey to throw to before the game. Again should be obvious....................but
donhaas 19 Posted November 14, 2011 I would rather ride the wave of a team continuing to improve... How's that wave, Spicoli?? :overhead:
donhaas 19 Posted November 14, 2011 I think a thread like this proves the old adage "Never get too high on your team" Unless, of course, your team is the Green Bay Packers
