WhiteWonder 2,859 Posted November 27, 2011 so glad i didnt drop him way back when he was sucking. looking like a good flex play from here on out. 24.2 in PPR so far.
dreen626 17 Posted November 27, 2011 Yeah same here...i held onto him and it was not easy to do. Guess his owners always knew he has the talent. The coaches were BS'ing early on.
TwentyFourSeven 23 Posted November 27, 2011 Same here. I tried to sell him and nobody was biting so I kept him to see how he'd do with a new QB.
southcarolina 166 Posted November 27, 2011 I tried since Fred Jackson got hurt to trade Harvin for the Jonathan Stewarts and Marshawn Lynches of the world. Five separate trade offers, not one response. Not even a note politely declining. So to everyone in my league who didnt make a trade and is hurting at WR: Suck it while Harvin rots on my bench. Also, two weeks ago i predicted all this. Look it up :D
TheNAL24 1 Posted November 27, 2011 Sat him today for fitz bad decision...
dreen626 17 Posted November 27, 2011 Harvin just scored and Frazier and staff didnt even review. Wow

browns16-0 30 Posted November 27, 2011 and who gets tackled at the 3 yard line on a kick return? Good game for Harvin, but it easily could have been a great game.
uwmalcolm 74 Posted November 27, 2011 Sat him for AJ. Was a little worried about his ribs being sore. Oops! Harvin also had a 104 yard kickoff return as well...tackled on about the 3 yard line.
SNZ11 5 Posted November 27, 2011 The 104 yard return was nice. How often do you see a 104 yard return that is not a TD?
kilroy69 1,257 Posted November 27, 2011 I traded Rundmc and Andy Dalton for Cam and Percy and got a ton of ###### for it the week before run got hurt. Fock everyone who doubted me.

I never really wanted run from the start. He kinda fell to me and I thought I needed a good rb. I KNEW he was going to get hurt and tried to dump him from the start. I have always had confidence in percy I just didnt think the vikes used him right and/or didnt have a qb that could get him the ball. Ponder seems to have corrected that and the coaching staff seems to be hell bent on getting him involved now.

I didnt draft the team im running but Foster fills the 1RB and i wish whoever drafted had passed on Blount and took another WR or an elite TE. Wait didn't you really want DMC in the ibl? kilroy69 1,257 Posted November 27, 2011 yea I drafted too many RB's too early. I didn't realize how it was heavily favored it was to WR and spent half the year trying to catch up. I think I have a pretty decent team now that I have bolstered my WR corps with a lot of speculative ww adds like Laurent robinson, bennett and gaffney. All the leagues I have played in in the past were more geared to RB's.

diomed1 0 Posted November 28, 2011 Tough crowd. No kidding. I had over 30 today with him. PPR league that rewards for return yardage too. Peeeercyyyy!!!!
browns16-0 30 Posted November 28, 2011 Tough crowd. Not sure if you watched the game, but he had a rush where it appeared he scored, but he was marked down at the 1. The play was never challenged even though it was pretty clear he scored. He also was tackled from behind at the 3 on a kickoff return. Don't get me wrong I'll take his production all day long, but obviously I could have used the extra 6 points or so.

Yes i watched the game, and i started Toby Gerhart today, so i was cheering when he got caught from behind, and when the TD that he scored wasnt a TD. It ended up not helping me a bit ..but .whatever. I guess when a guy has the fifth best fantasy scoring day at his position (7th best non-PPR) i would call that better than "good" . I guess i was just arguing semantics. If you had said "He had a spectacular day, and could have had an extraordinary day" i wouldnt have even commented. No worries though

So he either gets you an extra 6 from the KR TD or he gets you an extra 6 from the rushing TD. Either way its a better day than he had but not something id be too frustrated over. Huh? 7 Posted November 28, 2011 Sat him for AJ Green at the last second. I'm not going to complain too much though. Green had a pretty good game. I had two good WR performances on my bench in Harvin and Tampa Mike, but Roddy and Green did fine. I still have Colston to go, so I may be bitching tomorrow night! WR Guru 31 Posted November 28, 2011 He really seems to be the featured guy in that offense right now and he is making plays. There aren't 10 WRs in the league that I'd start over him at this point.
Stewburtx8 67 Posted November 28, 2011 Percy had a great day and hurt me pretty badly in one league that I really need to win this week. I do own him in another league though. I have no clue what Atlanta was doing with their coverages against him in the 2nd half. On the TD he was being covered by a LB I believe. Minnesota had one offensive weapon yesterday and Atlanta failed to account of him once they got a 17 point lead, which allowed Minnesota to make a game of it. diomed1 0 Posted November 28, 2011 Next week could be a difficult week for Harvin, especially if Peterson does not come back. Champ Bailey. Sigh....I hate bad match ups with a playoff spot on the line.
SexyRexy 60 Posted November 28, 2011 so glad i didnt drop him way back when he was sucking. looking like a good flex play from here on out. 24.2 in PPR so far. 3 weeks ago I traded DeSean Jackson and Early Doucet for Cedric Benson and Percy Harvin. LOL for the win.
WhiteWonder 2,859 Posted November 29, 2011 Next week could be a difficult week for Harvin, especially if Peterson does not come back. Champ Bailey. Sigh....I hate bad match ups with a playoff spot on the line. does champ shadow the number 1 or does he stick to one side of the field? I cant remember with him. Harvin works the slot so im not sure if champ would be covering him?
diomed1 0 Posted November 29, 2011 I honestly do not know. Perhaps a Denver fan can pipe in on this. If he only works one side then Havin is worth a start then but I suspect that Bailey might be assigned on number 1's(praying for it not to be true.lol).
