Junkie 0 Posted December 8, 2011 He has the hammy, now the hip, and he's going up against the Steelers. I know he's playing for the contract and all, but I'm staying away. Can anyone convince me he has a shot of puting up decent numbers?
Kingstowne Dealers 14 Posted December 8, 2011 Nope. Hillis is trash and cannot be trusted. I'd rather start Issac Redman.
SexyRexy 60 Posted December 8, 2011 I'm going with Hillis. THIS is his "pay me" game. And he always plays the Steelers tough who struggle somewhat against big tough runners. Also Woodley out. Hillis will be the focal point on the ground and they will dump off to him to neutralize the blitz. He's going to be a decent play this week.
sirensong 111 Posted December 8, 2011 i want to, but since i'm on the playoff bubble, it feels like i have to go for upside. will probably start torrey smiff.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 8, 2011 If he wasn't playing the Steelers I might take a chance. As it is I'll be starting Doug Baldwin or Tolbert instead.
Kent 228 Posted December 8, 2011 I'm starting Chris Ivory over Hillis. You heard me.
SexyRexy 60 Posted December 8, 2011 I'm starting Chris Ivory over Hillis. You heard me. Hillis will have a decent game...I'm hoping for 60 yards and a TD and 30 yards receiving.
Junkie 0 Posted December 9, 2011 I'm gambling on m Morris, and hoping k smith is a no go. I'd rather take a chance on him than Hillis right now. Week 1 of my playoffs, so a lot is riding on this decision.
Cstriker 2 Posted December 9, 2011 THIS THREAD IS GOING TO BE EITHER A SOB FEST 3 HOURS FROM NOW OR A CELEBRATION. The caps were intended for dramatic effect. i got 10 mins to figure out if i should start hillis over holmes, toby, decker, maclin.

Cstriker 2 Posted December 9, 2011 did'nt have the balls to plug him in this week. But would like to see him do well so i have the confidence in him next week.
Kent 228 Posted December 9, 2011 Hillis barely seeing the field. Welcome to Pat Shurmur. Hillis is pretty much unplayable.

beemo 0 Posted December 9, 2011 I wasn't about to play him, but it does make me sorry that I wasted all season letting him rot on my bench. I was wrong to spite the Madden curse when I drafted Hillis. Any hopes of a last season surge from a healthy Hillis has to be all but gone now and probably died weeks ago for most owners. SexyRexy 60 Posted December 9, 2011 man oh man was hillis terrible in limited action. i have turner going against carolina so hopefully he can pick up the slack for me. an official one year wonder indeed.
stonewall 647 Posted December 9, 2011 an official one year wonder indeed. Thankfully, this will be the prevailing attitude among ff drafters next year, making Hillis the perfect mid-late round RB. He has the talent, we all know that. Hopefully he will end up in a good situation. Something just stank from the get-go in Cleveland this season regarding Hillis. Hillis is a beast and will be back to ff stardome.......and you should own him.
