Lamb of God 15 Posted December 14, 2011 1pt ppr league 4pt pass td's and 6pt rush/rcvng. No bonuses. I've decided I've rode Cam this far he still gets the nod over Matty Ryan. So I need a #2wr desperately. It's between these guys A. Brown, L. Robinson, or Julio Jones. They all have good matchups and all have pro's/con's. Right now I'd throw in Brown like I have been and just forget about it but the inj to ben is concerning, so I may play Jones instead who has had two good games in a row but he can disappear and do the Falcons elect to run the ball more than pass? Tough. Thoughts. Lastly Dallas D or Seattle D. This may come down to a coin flip. Thanks and leave a link and I'll get yours.
Larry David 20 Posted December 14, 2011 Definitely go with Julio. I'd also go with the Seattle D.
KevinH313 0 Posted December 14, 2011 I have to question your decision to go with Cam over Matt Ryan. Yes, he's gotten you this far, but the Texans defense is pretty scary. I really do believe Cam will struggle this week. For your #2 receiver, I think Brown and Robinson are both good options, but you're right, you would have to monitor Ben's status. Because of Ben's health, I'd pick Robinson. It looks like he's Romo's favorite, and Dallas is likely to have a big game against a struggling Tampa Bay team. As you said, Jones can disappear, and that's killer in the playoffs. Even if Robinson has a down game, he'll get 70+ yards. More likely, he'll catch around 90 and 1 TD, with plenty of potential for more. As for Dallas and Seattle D, I have the same decision to make. Both have pretty good matchups. I'm going with Seattle because they've been hot these past few weeks, and Chicago shouldn't get much going with Caleb Hanie. One thought for consideration: Seattle will certainly come out with purpose to avenge their playoff loss to Chicago last year. It wasn't a big rivalry thing or anything, but I'm sure Seattle doesn't want to lose another game at Soldier Field. Help me out with mine, please? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=397598
Frozenbeernuts 2,254 Posted December 14, 2011 I would go with robinson. Atl has a tough defense to play. Like you said big bens ankle is hurt and they are playing a good defense. I would say ride the hot hand and go with robinson. Thanks for answeing mine.

SexyRexy 60 Posted December 14, 2011 if the falcons D are available pick them up...i think they put up huge points this week.
CincinnatiDan 0 Posted December 14, 2011 if the falcons D are available pick them up...i think they put up huge points this week. Wow I have the exact same issues. I'm riding Matt Ryan over Cam Newton, however, since it's a big game on Thursday night, Jaguars secondary is depleted, he's playing at home, and they are trying to make the playoffs...perhaps win the division. Also I dropped Dallas Defense and picked up Arizona for this week. They are on fire lately, Peterson could return one for a TD any week, they are playing at home, and Cleveland sucks (might even have Seneca Wallace starting at QB). I'm trying to pick two receivers myself between Julio Jones, Laurent Robinson, and Santana Moss. I'm thinking I have to plug in Santana Moss since the Giants secondary sucks and Washington will be throwing all 2nd half. However, the Julio/Laurent decision is really tough. Part of me would really like to watch my Matt Ryan/Julio Jones combo tomorrow night. If you finalize your decision, answer mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=397635
bwillingham 0 Posted December 14, 2011 I would go with Ryan instead of Cam. I would take Julio Jones as #2 WR. I think Miles Austin will take more looks away from LRob this week and the Cowboys should be able to run at will on TB, thereby lessening the need to throw. I would take the Seattle D. Dallas D doesn't do anything but give up 12 point 4th quarter leads... Mine: link
TwentyFourSeven 23 Posted December 14, 2011 I'd go with Julio Jones before. He has the potential to explode.
