redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Fock it, I went to the local coffee shop. No point in sitting in my office twiddling my fingers. Let's get this back on, b!tches.
redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Is me not showing up at your Manchester gig still the worst thing that ever happened to you ? Do you blame that for your comedian career going nowhere ? I do regret you not making it. I feel that I could have added some light and positivity to your life and things would have worked out better for you. Your attitude would be so much better and people would like you more.

redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 3 favorite geeks, 3 least favorite, and why? Tough one. Favorites would include: donhaas (have drank with him multiple times) cgod (one of the first geeks to see my act, plus he is a great guy) Jessy (have hung with her a bunch too and she has seen the show at least three times). Plenty of honorable mentions: BLS - Quality dude. TNG - Quality Gal Peenie - Just seems like a genuinely nice person Toofy - barely posts, but he was a good guy. HoffDaddy - Drank late night with him and his wife. Plus he bought a comedy shirt of mine. jets24 - Always seemed like a good guy Least? I don't know, not everyone really rubs me the wrong way too much. I guess in no particular order: MDC - Seems to add no value and overall unimpressive. Mzf5c - Main Board Colts fan who seems kind of a goof (though harmless). Torridjoe - Old school name and NEVER posts, but I he was one of the few posters who would to make me smack my head and day "huh??" This is all off the top of my head. Do you think Robert Edwards is the most unlucky person to ever have played feetball? I was thinking the dude from the Saints that caught ALS. I would much rather fock up my knee than deal with what that guy is dealing with now. It does suck for Edwards though because I thought he would have a great career. Does it bother you to be the 2nd funniest ginger behind Carrot Top? I would be fired up to be the 2nd funniest redhead in America. That means I would be ahead of Louis CK and Bill Burr. In all reality, I think Carrot Top gets a bad rap. I saw him in college and I thought it was a blast. I have no problem with him being a "prop" comic. Comics with guitars (other than Stephen Lynch) annoy me way more. I used to always refer to a guitar as a lifeline for comedians who can't tell jokes. Black people, what's the deal? One strange thing I have found over the years, older fat black women LOVE me. No clue why. They have always overly flirted with me any chance they got. I guess they dig the red. redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Does ULowell hunt you down and ask for donations every 6-8 weeks? Not since I moved to WI. It might be because I am out here or because I have no had a land line since I moved out here 8 years ago. I used to focking hate it when they would call me. I used to explain to them that I make a donation every year.....it's called Student Loan repayment. Plus the school as WAAAAAAYYYYYY more upgrades than when I was there. redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Ever shart on stage? Surprisingly no. But for the longest time, I had to take a big crap before I went on stage, so maybe there was nothing left in the chamber when I was on stage.
redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Have you ever been heckled by a fellow geek? No, but BLS brought some dunce one year who kept making weird, loud chirping sounds during the show. Then she hissed at Jessy and Carrie after the show.
redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Did you finish your MBA? If so, are you doing anything with it? I am taking my last class THIS semester. I took my sweet ass time with it by only taking one class at a time (3 a year) with me taking two last fall. Overall it took me 5 years. I need to make some decisions on what to do with it. Three possibilities: - At the very least asking for a raise on my current job (unlikely). - Updating the resume and looking elsewhere (i.e. 3M) - This is risky as my current job is very safe, but I might be able to get a sizable raise, but will they be understanding about comedy? - I will start to try and leverage my MBA with my comedy ability. I think there is a business that I could start for a comedic, business speaker/consultant. I presented something in my Entrepreneur class's mini contest and won it all. With the free time, I will put more thought into that.
BLS 314 Posted February 13, 2012 No, but BLS brought some dunce one year who kept making weird, loud chirping sounds during the show. Then she hissed at Jessy and Carrie after the show. Dude, that should have been my warning.....that was 2 weeks into the 'relationship' and I should have kicked her to the curb right then. But alas, she sucked good c*ck. (top shelf, I mean, REALLY good) She used to be a model, and she thought I wanted to sleep with Jesse and/or Carrie and accused me as such after your show. B1tches be crazy. redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Is BLS as crazy as I think he is? He might be. I have only hung out with him in doses and for the most part, he seems like a really good guy. But who knows what its like after 9 beers and someone walks into the bar with a "Hope and Change" T-shirt.

Is your son growing up a Patriots fan or a Packers fan? Or is he some kind of Mestizo? I do not plan on leaving the area (but you never know). I like it up here and we are even thinking of buying a new place in the general area, but with more land so the kids can run around. Plus my wife's family is really cool and I like being near them. Plus, if I left the area, I wouldn't have an act. It is too early for him. I have the Pats gear for him, but he doesn't quite get the whole rooting for a team. I am sure it will be a battle when he goes to school and he has friends that are Packers fans. But in my area, I think they are weak Packer fans. They root for the Packers, yet root for the Twins. Lame.
redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Most memorable sporting event you witnessed in person? I was at the Snow Bowl game with the Raiders and Patriots (Tuck Rule game). We had great seats that year (close to the 50 yard line and about half way up in the old Foxborough Stadium). It was a ton of fun seeing a game in the snow, it seemed oddly surreal and not really all that cold. Brady was facing us when he "fumbled" the ball. We were bullsh!t and were ready to leave. Then they showed the replay and we decided to leave to beat traffic (it sucks getting out of Foxborough after a game). We heard the ref say they were going to review it and we laughed. I was actually surprised so few people were leaving (the game was essentially over). We were literally about 10 feet from the gate when we heard the ref announce "incomplete pass" and the crowd goes bananas. We had to sprint back to our seats, kick people of them that tried to move up and watched the rest of the game. I would have hated myself for years if we made it past the gate. Favorite classic band? I am not sure if they are considered "classic" or not, but U2 was always a favorite. Especially anything from Achtung Baby and earlier. Are they considered "classic?" It is sad to say that an 80's band is "classic." I don't want to admit it because it means I am getting old. We caught up because where I live used to host the Kansas City Chiefs training camp. I guess earlier that day, he had a morning after puke while driving his car with the door open. He left me a voicemail once where he was asking about the Red Sox for his baseball draft. I had to play it at least three times before I could understand him enough to know who the hell it was. Too bad I wasn't more active here because I was in your town a few years ago for training camp,we could've had few drinks together.A friend and I stayed at a B&B on Main and our hostess invited us to a softball game one night and told us to bring a case or two of beer.Damndest softball game I ever seen, every player had a beer on the field and the ump would call time-outs for a beer break.By the 5th inning there was some funny softball being played. redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Have you ever given/received a golden shower? No, but I came close to giving one in high school. A friend of mine brought over some scank he was trying to bang to a small party I was having at my place. She was beyond annoying (and not even cute). She eventually passed out on the back porch (too early in the evening). I decided to piss on her while she snoozed. I even had my pecker in hand with the seal about to break. My friend who was with her was present and after thinking about it for a little bit said, "Maybe that is not a good idea. Please do not piss on her." I said OK and told him to get her the fock out of my place. He dropped her off somewhere and came back without her.

redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 How much do you make in a year from your stand-up shows? Hmm.....I am debating whether that is something that I should be sharing on this forum. Let's just say that is exceeds what I thought I would get as a part time comic and it provides a very nice supplemental income.

redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 I knew you liked me! haha Sorry, that seemed harsh on part. I was struggling to come up with people who are the "worst." I am sure there are worse than you. redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Understandable. I was just wondering if a guy could make a living off of it. You definitely can, but if you do it full time it involves a lot of road work. That doesn't seem too appealing to me as it would greatly reduce my overall income, I would be no where near my family and I would staying in sh!tholes the majority of my life. Most of the full time comics that I have met that have been doing it for 20+ years seem pretty grumpy. If you get into corporates (which I am now getting into), there is a lot more money to be made and I think it can get easier to make a living with it. The typical club comics make crap unless they are "names." The pay for club comedians has not gone up in 20 years. As an example, I made twice as much Saturday night at one corporate than I did when I headlined a weekend (3 nights) in a club in Sioux Falls, SD last summer. And I what I got at the corporate is at the "lower" end of corporate pay (I consider myself a "decent" corporate comedian with a lot of room to improve). The big time comedians that you see on TV (Jim Gaffigan, Daniel Tosh, Louis CK, etc.) make great money though, but it is very hard to become that.

redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 What's the largest crowd you've played to? Where does most of your comedy come from i.e. real life experience or you just get stoned and make shiot up? My biggest crowd was probably around 500 people. Usually the more the merrier with crowd size, so long as they are there specifically for comedy. I would love to do a larger show than that. Most of my comedy comes from real life (with some exaggeration). I think being a comedian, you need to seem "believable." If I am drawing from real life, I think it comes across as more beleivable and I tend to tell it better than if I totally made something up. Plus i don't get high. redtodd 7 Posted February 13, 2012 Have you ever used any of the shiot we say around here in your act? If so...WE WANT COMPENSATION! I don't think so. There may be a line for one joke that I got from here, not sure if I did or which joke it was. I tried once or twice to solicit tags to jokes from you guys and I was sorely disappointed.
