Frozenbeernuts 2,449 Posted August 22, 2012 The earliest he should go is pick 8. The big 3 RBs, QBs and Calvin should go 1-7. Room for debate after that, but I wouldn't let him get past me if I'm picking 8. There will be a big F U DMC thread after this year when he blows up and everyone, who stayed away after getting burned the year before, is pissed

LSUtiger 9 Posted August 22, 2012 +1 And I'm generally pretty high when I draft, so drafting DMAC is likely. I was eying a late first round selection of Forte then DMC with my first pick in the 2nd (i.e., 13 or 14 overall). That said, the way he's trending, I may have to flip flop those two guys to make sure I get both.

I drafted Forte & DMC 10/11 in my 10 team league... 4 QBs went in the 1st round though as it's QB heavy league

But like Michael Gerard Tyson always said - everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth.
BunnysBastatrds 2,716 Posted August 22, 2012 After getting burnt last year by injuries I just cannot bring myself to risk taking this guy in the first this year. If im picking late in the first and its a PPR and the top QBs are gone I will probably take Jimmy Graham before I take McFadden. Second round I will start to consider it. Still will be tough because you just know he is probably getting hurt. The best case scenario is you are waiting on the game time decision week in and week out. What sucks about that is most of his games are gonna be west coast games too so depending on your roster you wont be able to risk waiting to see if he is playing. As someone who was burned by him last year, I wouldn't take him in the fourth round. I drafted Charles in the first and McFadden in the third. When I lost Charles for the year I figured my season was screwed but along came McFadden and I was back in it. Then he gets hurt. It was week to week whether or not he was coming back so I held onto him. I could have used that roster spot and drafted a RB that would have given me some points early on. Two straight years that he's been bad luck for me. Drafters beware. Plus. he's a Raider.
The Moz 72 Posted August 22, 2012 A few Vicodin , maybe I add in some Oxy , smoke a few bowls of my favorite green, and then throw in the alcohol of choice ... That would be the Highest I might take DMC. That was the question right?
