SUXBNME 1,502 Posted September 21, 2012 Im having a real hard time projecting him this week...50 total yds and 1TD best case? You never know with AP. 1 missed tackle here, one good block there, he....could....go...all...the....wait a minute Yea...50 + a TD would be a good guess. Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 21, 2012 He's always a threat for a TD. Hell, he could possibly get 2 short TD's. I'd be shocked if he got anywhere close to 100 yards rushing. I'd start him....but what are your other options?
Dueces Will Be Wild 15 Posted September 21, 2012 My other options are Kevin Smith vs a horrible Ten team and Benson vs Seattle. I'm leaning towards Kevin Smith. PPR
Slim Pickins 0 Posted September 21, 2012 My other options are Kevin Smith vs a horrible Ten team and Benson vs Seattle. I'm leaning towards Kevin Smith. PPR Kevin Smiff. I'm wrecking my brain thinking about this one too. I left AP on the bench week 1 and he blows up. I bump Reggie for him in week 2 and Reggie goes off. I'm thinking of sitting him against SF this week. I think Ponder and Co. are going to have a hard time moving the rock against them and they're going to put 9 in the box all night. Still, that focker and produce so it's always risky to bench him when he's healthy. So now I have to try and figure out the best play. I started Andre Brown last night but if I follow FFT weekly rankings, JC gets the start @NO. My only concern is the tendency to pull him when KC gets behind which is going to be a lot this year. I dunno. Seems I've left a high scoring RB on my bench each week...
p00h 85 Posted September 21, 2012 lol, no he doesn't have a chance at 2 td! SF is not going to even give up 14 pts to the vikes! bench All Day all day sunday!!!

He could be splitting carries 3 ways with Leshoure and Bell.
kennybanya 0 Posted September 21, 2012 I started a similar thread early in the week. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm thinking of benching ADP for Benson @ Seattle. Unless Minnesota can force turnovers, I just can't see them moving the ball at all on SF, especially after what SF did to the Packers. I think the Packers can move the ball on anyone but SF, giving Benson more scoring opportunities and potentially a lot of garbage time yardage.
Fantasy Noob 10 Posted September 21, 2012 Just a heads up but Seattles run defense is really good, and when they are at home they are really, really good, add in that energy for a primetime Monday night game and I would be real suprised if Green Bay gets 50yds rushing total for the game. I would elsewhere than Benson if at all possible. In fact I would start ADP over Benson just because ADP has more talent but I hate both RB's situation this week. True, they are good, but the Niners are on a different level, and the talent difference between AP and Benson is smaller than the difference between the Niners D and the Seahawks D. Not a good situation at all for either RB as you point out, but I lean the opposite direction and would start, grudgingly, Benson over AP. I wrote a joke post about Benson in another thread that I probably should have just re-pasted here.
TD Ryan2 316 Posted September 21, 2012 I have Percy and AP - probably benching both but it kills me to do so. (M. Bush in for AP and Dez or Bowe over Percy)
Maroon Bells 18 Posted September 21, 2012 I'm benching him in favor of Mathews and McFadden, but I'm doing so with a great level of uncertainty. Mostly since McFadden's matchup ain't much better.

bucky1235 0 Posted September 21, 2012 Trying to decide this myself. My choice is AP or Wes Welker (vs. Baltimore). Thoughts?

Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 21, 2012 They have only given up 3 rushing TD's in their last 20 games Minnesota has the best defense Frisco has faced, and all it takes is one unfortunate turnover to set up AP for a short TD. I will admit, 2 TD's are pretty unlikely. My bad there.

BufordT 434 Posted September 22, 2012 I'll be starting Peterson, mainly because everyone else seems to be benching him.
Bruce Benedict 0 Posted September 22, 2012 I'll be starting Peterson, mainly because everyone else seems to be benching him. This is the same reason I'm starting Matt Leinart at QB. When the masses are THAT sure somebody will do nothing, I can only assume the opposite.

Interesting response, pretty sure you're sacastically mocking my reply, but, at the same time agreeing with it. Confused!! Of course, Matt Leinart has never been fantasy relevant. ADP is a consistent top 5 rb since '07 and has been looking pretty good thus far. His workload is increasing as he gets stronger and more confident with the rebuilt knee. No point in drafting him and then putting him on the bench. I don't care if it's '85 Bears he's up against. The fantasy gods will be watching this one very closely.
