Medicare Part D

Recommended Posts

I do not hate America but I am saddened by what it is turning into, a bunch of lazy entitled losers with no purpose in life. I remember a great America you will never know.

Did you also walk 10 miles to school in the snow? Uphill both ways?

The past is gone we face today. Waving a flag and saying America is great is not what made us great in the past.

1. We can't even get a man to the space station on our own.

2. Capitalism let us dominate the world economy and as we change to socialism we are losing that.

3. We are $17.3 trillion dollars in debt.

1. And if we did, you would complain that it cost too much.

2. We are not changing to socialism despite your incessant whining about it.

3. That we are...due to both the R's you support and the D's you constantly cry about.

As for lazy entitled losers with no purpose in life...that is grand coming from the guy collecting checks from the government while he sits online all day regurgitating Republican talking points from fox while claiming to be a Libertarian.

I do not support the Rs and haven't voted for an R or D in over two decades.

Our government controls 38% of our economy, a decade ago it was under 20%. If that isn't a move toward socialism you need to tell me what it is. HTH

The liberal members of Generation X seems content to rest on the laurels of those that came before them. It doesn't work that way, we were a great country but now we are a declining power in the world.

You claim you don't support the R's...yet constantly here when they are brought up, you defend them...while doing little more than slamming the Ds.

Its all you do.

You are the least libertarian there is here given how you post.

But you keep crying about socialisim and spending your days posting fox news links whining about democrats if you think its accomplishing something

I only have my phone for internet access, but I assume that all the countries with socialized medicine and high quality care all have a much lower population than the US.

Having a smaller population reduces the bureaucratic nightmare with a nationalized system.

Also, I believe all of this extra money dumped into healthcare in the last decade takes us further from a nationalized system. We are taking money and dumping it into private companies which increases their power and ability to buy lobbyists.

Others have pointed out this is a problem, and it probably is. But I think our country's culture is a bigger problem. Our populace is both entitled and litigious, which is a set up for frivolous lawsuits. We also don't lead healthy lifestyles and can't handle the prospect of death, which promotes overuse of the system. Sprinkle in a little greed from providers serving a vulnerable population, and you have a recipe for massive waste.

I questioned you a few months ago on this when someone was actually bashing a republican and I laughed that you were supporting the guy who had zero libertarian beliefs. You then ran away and ignored all criticism of your faux libertarianism.

But like I told drobeski...not as easy to find since there are not topic after topic after topic here started by the left leaning posters whining about the right.

Its just always people like you crying about the left.

Gen X didn't fock the country over, your generation did. It's our lot in life to be the hiccup generation that has to get dumped on by cleaning it all up the unfunded promises made by the politicians of your era.

We've way more in common with the millenials who are also getting screwed.

2. We are not changing to socialism despite your incessant whining about it.

Fool! This quote is from the late 40s

The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform.

Says the guy who revels in the fact that he jumped at his first chance to live off the public teat and constantly derides those who provide that teat as "worker bees", "bottom feeders", etc. Never gets old.

Because nobody refers to it as Obama-care Part D. That and the core of the conservative leadership is more likely to benefit from Medicare than the AHCA.

Right. It's called BushCare Part D hence the reason there is no make believe outrage over it.
