At least until those sites get some people in from the outside to provide some oversight. I don't risk much but I'm waiting until I KNOW the data is secure and no one has an unfair advantage. Maulers1973 117 Posted October 8, 2015 I agree. I looked into a Yahoo DFS, but it all looks and feels exactly like Fanduel. It almost looks like it's run by FD and Yahoo just pays them as a client. Certainly your prerogative, but nothing that has happened this week concerns me about playing this week. The amount of misreporting, misleading headlines about the "scandal" and flat out terrible journalism is unfortunately something that happens all the time in this day and age and it's no different here. I've waded through the crap and fell very comfortable continuing my DFS pursuits this week. Since there is already a thread about the controversy, I'd like to keep this thread to normal game discussion. Ohh, no worries at all. I've been meaning too, but simply haven't had the time to check out the Yahoo's DFS offering. giraldi02 474 Posted October 9, 2015 Gurley on Yahoo was a joke. $10? I paired him and Jaelen Strong in a $1 gpp on there. Made for incredible roster flexibility... If I recall correctly, Jaelen Strong was targeted in the red zone a couple times in the preseason. He might be a boom or bust option in standard scoring / TD heavy leagues. What's hindered his playing time isn't so much the talent (or lack thereof)... Its that Keith Mumphrey plays well in special teams. Strong does not. giraldi02 474 Posted October 9, 2015 This weekend I love Willie Snead as a cheap flier. Particularly if Byron Maxwell is out...though I doubt it. Boobie Dixon is cheap as well. Could be big in the pass game (Draftkings is full PPR) Le'Veon gets the Chargers. As of now, the Chargers are the top team I'm targeting for opposing running backs. Cincinnati and the Bears are both sneaky defenses. I'm rolling with the Bengals nearly everywhere. Seahawks on the road are vulnerable, Wilson is getting sacked at an enormous rate. Demaryius is my top WR this weekend. Brees and Peyton are very affordable with top performance at the position easily attainable. I am not as high on Brady in cash games. Greg Hardy AND Rolando McClain are back. You do realize Yahoo has been running the weekly salary leagues for like 15-20 years right, The only thing they are doing now that they didn't then was letting you bet on it.
