BuschWack 56 Posted December 13, 2015 Lacys tearing it up, so naturally McCarthy runs Cobb on 1st down, Starks on 2nd and then when needing 2 yards... Throws. How has this baffoon kept his job?? 1. Favre 1. a. Rogers
brotherbock 349 Posted December 13, 2015 Huh. We're doing a lot better this game than we have in weeks, after he takes over playcalling. Yet he sucks because of fantasy concerns?

brotherbock 349 Posted December 13, 2015 Uh ya? I get that point, but the post before about him keeping his job... Belichick sucks for that same fantasy reason.

This is a fantasy football message bored. If it doesn't benefit a fantasy concern then it sucks. The play calling WAS good in the first half. Seems to have reverted. 4 straight punts. Hardcore troubadour 12,823 Posted December 14, 2015 Great game to watch. I fell asleep twice. Dallas offense is so bad once GB went up two scores it was over.
brotherbock 349 Posted December 14, 2015 I fell asleep twice. Dallas offense is so bad once GB went up two scores it was over. But for a GB fan who's been worried about our offense, it was a great game to watch
thePRO 78 Posted December 14, 2015 Huh. We're doing a lot better this game than we have in weeks, after he takes over playcalling. Yet he sucks because of fantasy concerns? Up 14-7 through 3 quarters wasn't THAT much better. But Dallas defense has been playing really well.
brotherbock 349 Posted December 14, 2015 Up 14-7 through 3 quarters wasn't THAT much better. But Dallas defense has been playing really well. The way we were (finally) running the ball? Way better. Communication between Rodgers and the WRs was better. Dallas was playing some good D, don't let that mask the improvements we showed.

Dallas was playing some good D, don't let that mask the improvements we showed. Well the way to beat Dallas is on the ground. Their passing defense is top 10 in the league. Think bottom 10 in rushing. But every Green Bay RB did look really good, just don't know if that will translate well against a better rush defense.

thewrathofkuhn 40 Posted December 17, 2015 Lacys tearing it up, so naturally McCarthy runs Cobb on 1st down, Starks on 2nd and then when needing 2 yards... Throws. How has this baffoon kept his job?? 1. Favre 1. a. Rogers The three drives before that one where "Lacy was tearing it up" ended in punts. I'd argue those 3 runs by Cobb and his repeated presence in the backfield overall was responsible for the change in the alignment of Dallas' front 7 – directly contributing to the success of the zone run and Starks roaming free in the flat on his receiving plays. McCarthy is widely considered one of the best offensive coaches in the league. The level of players he's had in his offense certainly doesn't hurt – but that itself speaks to just how awesome Thompson and the coaching staff scout, draft and develop personnel. I'd wager 25+ teams would be stoked to have McCarthy as their coach. Calling him a buffoon is dumb.

Favre 1. a. Rogers Top 5 offense every year he has coached. Quits playcalling and they are not as good offensively. Won a super bowl. Highly regarded in the league for his offensive mind. Perhaps he knows more than you.
