petekrum 20 Posted January 4, 2016 So my drafted team with Romo as my starter and Kap as the backup I'm going to finish the season with no QB? No thanks. Hell, NFL teams pick up free agents all the time, and a few of them turn out to be pretty good. Show me a league with no waiver moves and I'll show you a league with mostly lazy owners. stonewall 647 Posted January 4, 2016 Luck and Rodgers will be tremendous values next season. I am always looking for guys who are high floor guys coming off bad years and, thus, undervalued.
R8RMick 242 Posted January 4, 2016 I wouldn't be so hard on Bortles - he is a second year guy who was thrown into the fire too soon. And, at least from a fantasy perspective, he was the #5 QB in my scoring system (just ahead of Brees). There were guys posting that they wouldn't touch a Jaguar last summer. They're still moving in a positive direction. See a LOT of parallels between the Jags and Raiders, both in fantasy and on the football field. I know there were some Oakland players that disappointed late- Carr, Murray and especially Amari Cooper. Don't read a lot into that going into next season. Carr needs to work on his scrambling, but more importantly he needs to master Bill Musgrave's offense. Musgrave is taking a shite ton of heat for his vanilla playbook, when in all truthfulness with the 2nd yr QB and new WRs, and a rookie at TE, they're running about a third of his playbook. I look for the light to really come on for Cooper next season once he has a chance to reflect on the tape from this year. Also, ABSOLUTELY draft Clive Walford as your backup TE next year. The wildcard in Oakland is the RB position. No other team in the NFL gave it's RB a higher percentage of its offensive touches than the Raiders did with Latavius Murray. He led the AFC in rushing yet left huge chunks of yards on the field. If the Raiders make a switch at RB, not a committee add but an actual switch, that means they believe to be upgrading over Murray. GRAB THAT PLAYER. Their offense will be much improved next year, if just from a TOP standpoint alone from improving the defense, which will be a number one priority for McKenzie and Ken Norton Jr in FA and the draft.
minuteofdecay 5 Posted January 4, 2016 In a dynasty league? Thats fun?? To each their own. If you find it fun then thats all that matters, but holy crap i dont know how there would be any teams left to field a starting lineup. Have you tried this league yet, or are you trying it for thr first time? All your league really rewards is luck. I think it takes more skill to work the wwm it sounds almost lazy to take the approach of your league. going on 25+ years actually. 14 teams 18 players 1 qb 1 rb 2 wr 1 flex (no qb) k. It makes u look for jems the draft is super deep because of players that wasnt drafted the year before that blew up. The year after I won. I drafted a. Brown at 14 because of all the hype that the rookies were getting, if I remember right it was right after his rookie year. Besides what part of ff isn't luck? So u try to always have one. 18 roster spots go for 4 qbs 6 rbs 6 WR's 2 kickers.
