Instant Fantasy Analysis - RB Kenyan Drake, Dolphins

Recommended Posts

A vote of confidence for Jay Ajayi? It appears so. Drake was a near-perfect complement to Derrick Henry at Alabama in 2015, helping to erase the memories of a college career that was repeatedly undermined by injury. Although he is big enough to be a featured back (6-1, 210), his injury history suggested he will be used as a passing-down/breather-back role behind Ajayi. He's an interesting add for Miami in that he has a future as a satellite back and comparisons to Reggie Bush are appropriate, although he is not quite in that class in terms of pure elusiveness and explosion. Ajayi (and his fantasy owners) should not feel threatened on early downs, but Drake's presence likely means he'll be limited to first and second down. Drake is on the redraft radar as a RB4 and should be a second-round pick in the majority of rookie drafts.

As Ajayi dynasty owner. This was as good as I could have hoped!!!

Arian Foster still looms so huh?

Great point. I think Arian to Miami is still very likely to happen, assuming he eventually checks out medically at some point.

The draft broke great for Ajayi. Period.

Hahaha....don't be bitter now. There is a possibility Foster gets signed.

Also Drake will most likely take all 3rd down work over Ajayi.

All? Ajayi was best pass catching rb in draft last year. You know my point. Ajayi still right now is the starter

Uh... David Johnson was the best pass catching back. He was a converted receiver.

Check the stats?

Does it matter? Whoever has the most stats is the best player? Thats a poor way to evaluate. This guy has the most yards or caches so he must be the best!!

Did Odell Beckham have the best stats out of the receivers being drafted? No. But he was the best receiver coming out. People just didnt realize it yet. I guess Hawaii qbs should always be the #1 pick according to your logic.

I am not saying Ajayi is a poor receiver, just that he isnt the best.

Let it go. Even if Miami signed Foster he would go out with a deviated scrotum in week 2...

It's hard to say, we don't even know who is taking over as the primary between him and Damien Williams. It's an interesting situation to watch, but I don't think anybody is striking gold just yet.

I think that staying away from any Dolphins player going forward is a wise investment.

i continue to hold onto Devante Parker for some unknown reason...his start of the season was just too enticing.

Just wait, he will find some how to stand and watch from the side lines soon.

His problem is not talent , it's heart.

His own coach called him out this last off season, and he's doing it again this season
