The French poisoned the minds of all of western civilization with Derrida and Foucault, practice socialism, and now have Macron leading them in 2020, so they may deserve it. At worst, I see your point. Still, historically they are an integral part of WesternCiv and they have the Yellow Vests. Marine Le Pen is a popular national figure so I wouldn't be ready to toss them by the wayside just yet.

All of Europe needs to smarten up. Hopefully the EU collapses. If Marine Le Pen becomes Prime Minster in or before 2022, hopefully she can work some magic with what's left of the decent people there.

Germans are the biggest basket cases of Europe. They have spent the last 75 years beating themselves up over WWII and losing any sense of civic pride. They teach their youth to be weak and cucks. Hopefully they snap out of this national funk soon.

Didn't really change my mind, simply shocked it happened.  It beats the alternative we were faced with.  Looks like 2020 will be the same way.

Europe as a collection of nations at the start of WW2 because they refused to fight back against Hitler.  They became a colony of Nazi Germany.  The USSR was going to defeat the Nazis though so in the end Europe was fated to become a Soviet colony.  However, the USA altered the course of fate yet again with D-Day and captured most of Europe before the USSR could get it.

So as it turns out, at the end of WW2, Europe became a colony of the United States.  Hollywood became the epicenter of its culture. As they rebuilt, they adopted more and more American customs.  There is some similarity between this alignment and what happened to Egypt after Cleopatra.  Egypt became a colony of the Roman Empire, no longer projecting power, and slowly fading into oblivion.  Likewise, Europe became a colony of the United States, unable to project power, and slowly fading into oblivion. 

You will know one of these European nations stop being a colony when they build a huge military and can project power.  Until then, they serve the US, or whomever the world's superpower is.
