Laquon Treadwell

Dynasty/keeper leagues. Is this cat a buy low right now? If you own him, are you highly disappointed and looking to cut bait. If you don't have him, has he even crossed your mind?

Not sure this guy can surpass Diggs in the next 3 years. Only the WR1 is worth a damn in MN. I would cut and not buy.

I drafted him this year and was just offered Cobb for him. While Cobb isn't exactly lights out now he's on a much better offense and still only 25 yrs old, thinking of pulling the trigger on this.

He sure is not getting any playing time. Vikes are playing two TEs, a lot, and sometimes with two RBS. They are hoping the QB will play a few games...

His 40 time was a big question, and he has not impressed the coaches here. 1st round pick so they are hoping...

They are not the same type of WR.

Treadwell is more of a possession WR (think Boldin before he got old)

There is some extra upside, but the bottom line is this: I think he will be fantasy relevant.

There is room for two good fantasy WR on this roster. He will eventually be #2.

If you can afford to stash him, I'd say yes. He was drafted with the idea of being a red zone threat and getting those contested catches... He's clearly not there yet.

He's a rookie WR, they don't have the best reputation for being stars by their 3rd game. Especially on a team with QB and RB troubles.

If you drafted him you either took him late and hoped he would blow up which he hasn't yet and would be a good candidate to drop, or you picked him in a dynasty, in which case you probably don't expect a lot out of him this season.

Do what you gotta do.

Today... no.

but I think by mid season Treadwell may start to make some noise.

probably more valuable in a dynasty format for sure, but you have to be willing to sit on a player like this for 5 or 6 weeks while he learns what it takes to perform at this level. If you aren't willing to do this, there is no point in picking him up because right now, he is not gonna be a reliable starter for you.

like I saId, that may change by mid season, or it may happen late in the season.

Rookies are not totally predictable. it may happen next year.

that's why hes risky to roster right now.

I'd be more inclined to leave him on waivers, and watch him closely. but for me, that's because we have shorter benches in our league.

if you have a deeper bench, he's not a bad guy to stash away.

Never said they were the same type.

Treadwell could become a TD or bust WR down the stretch.

He's currently 6th in the pecking order and at best will become 3rd.

Not sure Bradford can make 2 WRS relevant. He's no Farve and the Vikings defense is a lot better than when we had Culpepper.

I'll think about rostering Treadwell in 2018. Maybe 2017 if Charles Johnson is cut or released, not sure about his current contract situation.
