skinsrule05 30 Posted October 28, 2016 I don't know. It's not like CJA was an all out stud ad Booker will slid right in. Together, CJA and Booker had almost 700 yards rushing and 878 total yards in 7 games. That's 97 yards rushing and 28 yards receiving a game, but it's not like Booker will get 100% of that. Someone else will take up some of that as his backup. Let's say he gets 70%, which is high, that's about 88 total ypg. That's great, but not super elite. Don't get me wrong, I wish I had him in every league, but I don't think he will be in the Bell, Elliott, Johnson, McCoy, or D Murray range. Maybe not even in the Ware range if Charles remains soft. I think Booker can be more in the Gurley/Gordon range, but that's unknown too. You are forgetting the upside for him: - many say he is more talented then CJA (he was averaging 4.8ypc vs 3.9 for CJA) - the Denver line has been playing much better lately - his upcoming schedule is real soft Most people got him for nothing. So the jump in value is huge.
BigD13 6 Posted October 28, 2016 So you last two posters think Gordon's current points are a good reflection of how good of a runner Gordon is in general? Not really. He has less yards than many of the top RB's. All I really care about is how many fantasy points he gets me each week. So far it's been pretty good and I'm happy with that. If Booker can do the same I'll be real happy.

I just think the guy you were replying to was talking about Booker's talent and production overall. I think Gordon is riding a bit of a TD bubble right now. He's not doing the heavy lifting getting himself into scoring range for the most part. If the passing game stops getting him there, the TDs will dry up. But yeah, while he's scoring, ride the wave
cyclone24 1,935 Posted October 28, 2016 Shefter tweeted he could be back after the bye...in 4 weeks. Just got dropped in our league. Worth a spot or is it bookers gig?
brotherbock 349 Posted October 28, 2016 Shefter tweeted he could be back after the bye...in 4 weeks. Just got dropped in our league. Worth a spot or is it bookers gig? Have they officially placed him on IR yet? The IR rules, as I understand them, say that to be eligible to return from IR, the injury has to be one which it is estimated will keep the player from practicing for 6+ weeks. He wouldn't be allowed to practice for 6 weeks, can't play for 8 weeks.

Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted November 7, 2016 Mannn I hope anderson has an issue that shuts him down for the year. Classy. Guy in my league (who I had to face this week) gave me crap about CJ getting hurt and that he had Booker. Tells me this past week he wouldn't trade Booker to me for Gordon straight up even if I asked, and that Booker was going to be top 3 the rest of the season. And he benched Mark Ingram for Booker this week. With no CJ Anderson I was forced to start Gore yesterday. ............ ............
