That was what Kurt Warner was screaming about. The Packer playcalling was actually terrible in those drives after the picks. They kept going shotgun 5 wr and they don't have the personnel for that. Not that that was the whole game. Packers put themselves behind the 8ball. But I have no idea why you kick it there and I will never get a good explanation for it. All time bad. Just awful. If they could get a stop, they might be able to put another drive together. Bad call but understand it to a point. Maybe they was afraid if they score nothing. Tampa kicks a field goal on them then game over ? Giving it to Brady. Stopping them on a 3 and out. Getting the punt. Then marching what 70 or 80 yards scoring a TD with zero timeouts is a better option than going for it with the MVP of the league from the 8? If you miss they get the ball at rhe 8 and you have the same chance of forcing a 3 and out and getting a punt in way better field position? You just give up and hope? I understand you may not be advocating to do that. But it literally makes no sense and you are basically hoping for a bunch of stuff to work out. I understand what they may have thought but why? Why would they jist assume they would force a 3 and out and rhen march 80 yards with no timeouts? There is no time for tampa to drive and score a fg that is not a factor. It made zero sense and was a cowardly move while you have the unanimous MVP of thr league from the 8 yard line. But they trust that they will stop Brady and get the ball back and march 80 yards for a winning TD. That was just a bad decision.
