He went undrafted in one of my leagues. He worth a flier?

yes.  hes worth a flier.

it was rumoured before he got injured that he was more than holding his own in the battle for the starting job last year.

then he got hurt and the rest is history.

the O line is good enough and I think they run enough there that it is even possible both RB's in this offense put up enough stats to be worthy of a roster spot.

I wouldn't want him to be a starter for my team, but I'd be happy to have him as a backup.

It would have been more accurate

Not at the time of the ranking.

At that time, yes it would have. Williams would have played the 2nd rb role which is a good role in Baltimore. The heaviest run team

Prove it.

Hes the only starting running back on that list. We will see when the season is over.

Logic says that Williams should have been at the top.

Hines just got a big contract to be top 10 paid RB. People forget Nyheim was an RB2 last season.

Well, sort of.

I owned and started him in a 20 team league (when Mostert was out) last year, and it was kind of a nightmare.

He really only had four GOOD weeks during the fantasy season:

28.5

27.3

21.2

17.5

12.7 (Week 17, when no one was playing)

And then four "acceptable" RB2-type weeks:

12.2

11.5

10.4

10.1

And then he also had 7 weeks that were barely flex-worthy (if that):

7.7

7.4

6.3

6.2

5.8

5.0

1.4

So he was an RB1 about 1/4 of the time, an RB2 about 1/4 of the time, and then about half the time, he was just a JAG.

Sounds like wr T Lockett.

He had 6 really good weeks , Three flex weeks, and seven weeks that he was barley a flex play.  Based on avg points per game by WRs last season ppr

And yet many ff owners view him as a true wr2.

Hines new deal should worry those in ppr that own Taylor, Hines is surely going to be used even more in the passing game, they gave him to much money to just sit.

Parenthetically, this is what I've been talking about with Tre'Quan Smith, too.

I predict four weeks of 20+ PPR pts...  and then kind of a salad of meh and heartbreak the rest of the season.  Good to have a few big scores in a best ball league, without having to eat that half of the season where he's barely worth starting--but lands inside the top 25 by virtue of the 90 points in four games kind of a thing.

That’s going to be tough while T Smith sits on IR.
