Yo, Twitter people losing access?

I haven’t read the 35 pages of the other thread but according to someone I follow on Instagram, Twitter accounts are being closed. If you have one, check and see if it’s still active. Mine got hacked by Russians years ago. I thought they were exaggerating about it but then it really happened to me! So my account has limited abilities; read only.

I understand now. The person I follow is a Twitter employee: 

SAN FRANCISCO — Elon Musk began laying off Twitter employees on Friday, according to a companywide email, culling the social media service’s 7,500-person work force a little over a week after completing his blockbuster buyout.

Twitter employees were notified in the email that the layoffs were set to begin, according to a copy of the message seen by The New York Times. Workers were instructed to go home and not go to the offices on Friday as the cuts proceeded. The message, which came from a generic address and was signed “Twitter,” did not detail the total number of layoffs.

Funny enough, I used mine yesterday for the first time in years.  I tweeted a request to my favorite movie review podcast a movie I want reviewed.  Fingers crossed.
