I visited with Michael Strahan's ex-wife for over an hour last week.

It's 100% true. She's not famous by any means....but  I knew it was her before I approached her. I told some people "that's Michael Strahan's ex" . Most were "yeah whatever" (didn't believe me). 

 

She was at a wrestling tournament in Fargo, ND, watching her nephew.

I walked up....said "Can I ask your name please.?"  She said "Jean, nice to meet you".  I said "I thought that was your name...blah blah..." Nothing more was said about Strahan, etc. 

She was on the floor with the wrestlers and coaches. She somehow got a floor pass.

She kept coming over to me...chatting about wrestling and where I'm from ,etc.

I told her I coach, and my kid wrestles (well, not now, he has a torn ACL)

She said "That's just awesome, I love seeing dad's involved with their kids sports, etc.

She then said "I used to be married to a pro athlete"-- I interrupted and said "Yeah...I know.... that's how I knew your name, lol"

She said "well he doesn't promote (our)/his girls to be in h.s. sports. He tells them "Just chillax" --- and her and I agreed...they will have their entire life to "chillax", h.s. sports isn't here long.  And....well...for them it's (h.s. sports) over. They are 18. 

The reason I knew it was her, I had googled her a few years back when someone told me about the massive buildings (house, shop, grain bins) that popped up on this one farm in the middle of nowhere North Dakota. 

People from that area I guess started jibbering about how on earth all of the sudden there was money for that...etc.  I guess some folks ASSUMED the money was flowing from the divorce, etc.

I'm not saying that's true. I'm saying, that's why I googled her a few years back.  And yes...I've seen the property. Looks"out of place" for the area.  Either way...kudos to them. 

She still lives in NY,  has a house in North Carolina and is thinking of moving back here.
