There was some support for the proposals from Republicans.

The gun criminals are, according to the numbers, a relatively small, violent group with felony records. They commit a significant percentage of urban gun crimes while free on bond and awaiting trial on other crimes, or while on parole or probation after prior convictions and prison sentences, data shows.

While not an official stat, police officers often say 90% of their calls are dealing with the same 3% of repeat criminals. 

That isn't a race stat, just a quality of person stat

I wouldn't doubt it.    I am on board with the suggestion from another thread that we need to crack down hard on gun crimes, but I am not holding my breath waiting for that to happen in America.

I'm all for cracking down on gun crimes.  Against adding new laws when we aren't enforcing the current ones.

I welcome the return of common sense and any removal of woke stupidity....but it will take much more than this to unfock the damage created by Democrats.
