I'm partial to proselytizing that isn't so heavy-handed and judgmental.

I was hoping this thread would turn into a Bible-study group, not just mostly you spouting 28 pages of verses. You  didn't address peenie, an atheist who went to church and was enjoying reading the Bible.

"To show partiality is not good, because for a piece of bread a man will transgress."

- Proverbs 28:21

@weepaws

A show you might find interesting is Marco Polo. It came out in 2014 on Netflix. I think it does a good job showing how one's faith is tested across culture and hardship. The show has a naïve son, used horribly by his "ambitious" father, beyond all reasonable measure. And Kublai Khan becomes his surrogate father, in a way. Both better and worse in total. Obviously there is some creative license here. The Proverbs quote reminds me of how easily we find out someone's price. In the scene above, you see a ruler assessing the limits of what these weary travelers will pay for his blessing to do trade.

True faith has no price. It can't be bartered. Only surrendered in our worst moments where we cave in to our flawed nature. It is the nature of free will, to be at constant war within ourselves.

Be well, brother, keep the faith in all things.

Works doesn’t get into Heaven, that the thinking of the Catholic Church.   Jesus is the only way, do you have knowledge that Teresa had a relationship with God?

God says throughout the Bible, His Word, that He welcomes all that come to Him.

Romans 2:11-16.  For there is no respect of persons with God.  Must repent and accept Jesus Christ Lord Savior.   Romans 2:16.  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to My Gospel.

I wonder if Teresa accepted Jesus, we know what great things Teresa did , but none of us , but God only knew her heart.

A few points.  One, I don't know why you think Mother Teresa did not embrace Jesus.

Two, works do get you into heaven, according to Jesus.  And it is works, not words, which define one's love of Jesus:

Jesus says: “If you love Me, keep My commandments … He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me … If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:15-24.

I see that you are one of those people who thinks he can be an insufferable doosh who drives people away from God, but that you will achieve salvation because you cherry pick quotes from the Bible that support your position.  Hopefully that works out for you.  Many people from the Catholic Church, much smarter than you, have analyzed and identified the various paths laid out for salvation.  Our God is an inclusive one who wants his people to succeed.

God bless.

The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. - Romans 13 9-10

One can’t achieve salvation doing any kind of works, your post is just full of catholic bs.  Nothing that one can do can one make it Heaven.

Lesson #1.  One can only make it to heaven through Jesus Christ, end of lesson #1.  There is documents at all that say or show that Teresa accepted Jesus Christ Lord Savior.   So my question still stands, did she or did she not make it Heaven.  Was her name in the book.

I don’t know mr catholic, and neither do you.  Have a great day.
