Where did our "division" as a country start? Spinoff (why is everything woke vs non-woke)

The premise was that the South turned to the R party after northern democrats embraced the civil rights act.  Your billiant logic to counter this was "hur dur da souf didn turn immediately R overnight hur dur"

I then spit facts that the Southern states were the only states to vote for a devout racist in 68.  If that's not proof of the racist South, nothing is.

But of course this ownage is too much for you to realize cause you're uneducated and not well read.

SAD

Why didn’t Wallace run as a Republican if the electorate that continued to vote for Democrats in majorities in congress for 30 years, all shifted to the Republican Party after the civil rights act? Enjoy your white guilt dei anti-racist training tomorrow at whatever miserable Fed or office job you bang on a keyboard at.

@Dizkneelande, who I almost always disagree with, has facts correct on the subject of the southern states voting Democrat vs Republican. But I don’t agree with his conclusions.

The switch from Democrat to Republican wasn’t smooth and it didn’t happen overnight. As he pointed out, two Democrats of southern origin, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, won states in the south by getting a majority of whites tto vote for them. But that would be impossible today. The vast majority of white people in the south vote Republican, I believe this change is partly due to the civil rights movement, but more largely due to an overall rejection of our nation’s cultural and social changes over the past 50 years. That’s just a theory; I can’t prove that.

My main argument is this: the south is conservative. It has ALWAYS been conservative. It was conservative when it was Democrat, it is conservative now.

George Wallace’s main argument was states rights. He believed that the federal government had no right to interfere in the practice of segregation because each state had the right to make its own choices,

Ib our current day, which political party continues to argue for states rights, and which one does not?

Have you never heard of a dixiecrat FFS?  What kind of education are you getting in Mass?

Dixiecats were racist Southern democrats.  And he didn't run as a republican because he couldn't beat Nixon and the majority of the country didn't embrace the racist POS Wallace.  The racist, now republican south, LOVED him though.

What truth am I not sharing?

You lie about things like "I am a manager of smarter people than you".

It is such a dumb ass statement how can anyone take you seriously? Which proves you don't hold any job that requires intelligence.

It seems you are trying to make a point that you are only smart enough to manage liberals at work. And that I believe.

Better hone some skills. Banging on a keyboard isn’t a transferable one when AI can do it faster/better/cheaper then you 🤣. Don’t forget to put your preferred pronouns in your email signature tomorrow morning.

When AI can replace what I do I'll happily retire.

Good thing all the geniuses who swing hammers and unclog toilets will be ok...

You constantly make posts claiming that black people vote for Democrats but that Democratic policies are bad for black people. You believe voting for Republicans would be better. Meaning - you think you know what is best for black people. That black people are too stupid to vote in their own self interest and should listen to you instead? It’s a bit late to deny that or accuse the president of it when anybody can scroll through your posts to see it’s true.

I do feel like I have betters ideas. Repeating the same failed policies does not make sense, trying something else does

The majority of republicans are uneducated hicks who believe in sky faries.  Close to a majority of democrats are college educated and don't believe in sky faires.

Conservatives also are largely anti-vaxxers who believe, with zero proof, that the 2020 election was stolen.

Conservatives are morons.

Democrats  are also dependent on black churches. Lol.
