(FantasyPros) Defense ranking - Last year's finish 1) 49ers - 3rd 2) Bills - 4th 3) Eagles - 5th 4) Cowboys - 2nd 5) Patriots - 1st Hard to rank defense with so many players and turnover. Probably miss those "top" defenses since I draft 'em late. Instead - Week 1 matchups, guess, and stream. Texans at Ravens (-9.5 o/u 44.0)... Ravens 7th last year. Bring on rookie Stroud. Cardinals at Redskins (-6.0 o/u 40.0)... Skins 11th last year. Gonna be a run-fest. Buccaneers at Vikings (-6.5 o/ 45.5)... Vikes 22nd last year. Baker Mayfield, eh? Bahahahaaa ............................................................................................................. Anyone eyeballing a particular defense? Nice strategy if you can do it, but I think the cat is out of the bag on these guys. you wont be able to stream them because the minute you drop them another team will pick them up. unless you keep 2 defenses on your roster, this likely isnt something you will be able to do. (though I hope I am wrong) The Cowboys D is a great fantasy D, or should be at least. Micah Parsons is one of the best pass rushers and all around defensive players in the NFL. Trevon Diggs is a great ballhawk CB. Sacks and turnovers lead to fantasy points. Plus they have pretty good special teams too. They should block a kick or two and perhaps run one back for a TD. I've streamed defenses like that for sometime now, and the Patriots are almost always a good team to stream with. I pick them about every season by default. Bill of course is a brilliant defensive coach. They tend to have an easy schedule and play several games in bad weather. I'm happy with that . they are rarely the #1 Defense but nearly always top 10 and often top 5. Last year was a particularly good year for them and the only thing I really see possibly preventing them from being the top D is the fact the offense may have trouble staying on the field. The sacks and INTs will still be there, but they may give up more points due to opposing offenses having a short field. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
