Head to head match-ups suck sometimes.

I had a bad week one and lost. I deserved it. 

I scored the second most points in our 12 team league in week two and lost.

I scored the third most points in week 3 and lost. 

WTF!!!

I too get annoyed with religion talk in a FF forum but you gotta admit that he roasted you pretty good here . Just take the L and laugh it off.  
 

We all know that head to head is not necessarily fair. I try to encourage my leagues to have at least one playoff spot awarded to the team(s) with the next highest amount of points for this reason.

C'mon guys.   This doesnt need to be a thread for personal attacks.

a guy is allowed to complain about his crappy luck.

at the end of the day you stay the course.  your team is performing.  You just got unlucky with the matchup.   These things usually even out over time.  You will be fine.

We split our $3,000 pot, 50% to the Superbowl race, 50% to Total points race.  2 Champions/Runner Ups, in one league.

So when you get unlucky with Head to Head matchups, the sting is a little less, knowing you're up there in Total Points.

We do.the same but we even put money towards an investment account where you get shares added based upon how you finish in the standings. We play 2 games a week. 1 against the average. It's not a huge money league, $500 a team per year, but I'm just whining about it cause it's the league I care about the most.
