Pumpkin Carving…Do You?

Recommended Posts

I carve one start to finish, however I also gut 3 other pumpkins and prep them for carving for my wife and kids.

My brother and I have competitions every year. If I spend a lot of time I can carve something fairly complex. It just how much time I want to spend on pumpkins.

I have a carving set for it. Looking for a new idea for this year.

havn't carved a pumpkin in a while. that puking one looks fun. I'd assume you cant display that outside without animals having a feast.... maybe spray the 'vomit' part with a coat of finish?

This. Except they pretty much dry out during the roasting process.  lol

Every year. Garden gave us 4 this year including one that's about 24 inches in diameter.

After you finish painting it, you can display it in the woods for realism. 😂

My heterosexual life partner actually has pumpkins growing in our backyard.
4 or 5 of them have already reached their normal size and he gave them away.

It looks there are 3 or 4 more of them that will be "ripe" in a week or so.
Will we carve them?  Fuk no.  He'll prolly feed them to the 7 damn annoying chickens he currently harbors.  (illegaly)

Where is your all hallows day tradition?

If this was back in the days of the old geek club I would challenge you to a carving contest, 50 dollars and the geeks vote on who has a better pumpkin, but because of poster turnover recently......
