seafoam1 3,022 Posted October 24, 2023 I already miss it if only for the reason I liked having a car that was a little older, 2013, and slightly beat up. 160,000 miles. And a total 4 wheel beast off road. I wasn't gonna trade it in and was hoping for low ball offers just to rationalize keeping it as a second car. Dealer offered me $5800 for it and I happily said "No thanks, I love the car I'll keep it." so then I asked "How much do you want for your new CX30?" I test drove a new CX50 a slightly used CX50, and a new CX30. I like the new CX30 the best but said in the end I'm interested in all. The salesman went and got the agressive loud manager he said "You you don't want to sell your Jeep?" I said it's no big deal to me and I appreciated your offer, but I'll just keep it. I love that car. "How much do you want for it?" I said $9000. He replied with $8500. I countered with thrown in the all winter car mats and cargo area mat, and give me the CX30 Premium Plus instead of the CX30 Premium (not a lot of difference). Deal. I went from bare bones nothing automatic including the windows, locks, and transmission, to an inch thick book on how to work all the automated features in this focking new car. But whatever. Now when I hit the gas, this thing responds. So fun to drive.
TheNewGirl 1,490 Posted October 24, 2023 I love my Jeep. Just bought out my lease, so will see how long I keep it. 2020 Wrangler JL; 2 inch lift and 35" tires. She's fun, but not always practical.
OldMaid 2,130 Posted October 24, 2023 Congrats on your new Mazda! Too bad for us that you couldn’t trade yourself in, in the process.

So we usually refer to it as the "Sally*-Mobile." *Some names have been changed to protect the identity of some people

listen2me 23 1,873 Posted October 24, 2023 Wranglers are fine. If you get use out of them. The rest seem unreliable. I know tons of people lease so reliability isn't a big concern.
