Showboat 145 Posted December 12, 2023 In addition to financial incentives, take away draft picks or not invite an owner back, but really only for the most blatant forms (starting clearly injured/suspended/bye week players). The problem is that it is impossible to tell if someone is tanking or just playing a hunch so long as they are starting active players. This last week if someone benched Diggs, JJ, Swift and Gus for Chase Brown, Tyjae Spears, Wandale Robinson and AT Perry would they be tanking? the results would say not. Now, starting Aaron Jones, Jonathan Taylor, M. Thomas and T. McLaurin would be viewed differently Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Super Cubs 132 Posted December 13, 2023 Keeper we keep 6. There are cash incentives to win every week and a bonus for the highest scoring team of the week but yet there are teams tanking. Liked someone mentioned earlier it kind of hard to proven when owners are "playing a hunch" even though it really looks like tanking. We're not looking to kick anyone out of the league. Just try to find away to discourage owners from tanking. Commissioner suggested doing away with the worst to 1st draft order and using a random draft order. I was listening to a podcast and they are going with the best possible lineup's points scored instead of the actual lineup started to determine wins and losses for draft rankings only.
