Baker Mayfield may still be a franchise QB.

Has nothing to do with anything.  Whatd he do before that?  Now do Baker for his career before this.

Baker is Baker.  A low end starter.  Maybe he improves to middle of the road.

Everyone swung off Dak's nuts this year.  Until he played a playoff game and everyone remembered what hr has been for years now.

A "low end starter" who in TBs first playoff game this year threw for 337 yards 9.7 yard average, 3 TDs and 0 picks.

Not bad for a scrub.

He's the comeback player of the year. Get over it.

Drew Lock and Tyrod Taylor torched the Eagles D too. I’d pump the breaks on Baker a little.

Bailing on him after he played hurt most of the year and giving up the farm for Watson might go down as the worst move in Cleveland sports history.

Giving up the farm for Watson was dumb.

Baker still is what he is. A bit too limited to be a top guy. Capable of playing like a bottom tier guy. Comes out to mediocre in the end, maybe slightly better than most of the other mediocre QBs

When I saw AJ Brown biching at Hurts earlier this year it reminded me of Chris Carter yelling at Culpepper. That didn’t help. Hurts should have told him to Fock off. And the HC should have done the same. Instead they gave him what he wanted. He was overused and over relied on for a good stretch of the season, and that offense never looked the same.  What the hell happened to Swift?

I think you have the right key moment but somewhat of the wrong lesson from it. Brown was b1tching at Hurts because he was playing poorly, which he did for a good part of the year. It should’ve been a harbinger. Now they still should’ve told Brown to fock off, but the issue was Hurts.

I traded him away at the perfect time later in the season. They stopped throwing him the ball.

Well, the uptick in Browns use right after that seems like they were trying to keep him happy, and the other good weapons on that team were sort of shut out in favor of Brown. Hurts had  earned enough bonafides coming into the season that Brown should have been told to stand down. Hurts isn’t some young kid with no pelts at this point. WR’s come and go. Franchise Qb’s don’t. I think the HC did a poor job with that.

I agree that they definitely shouldn’t have stood for that diva WR crap

There are more than a few worse options out there, He reminds me of a poor mans Brett Favre.
