Guess what? The Houthis took the money to buy weapons and recruit child soldiers. What a surprise. Why do the Obama / Biden crew constantly hook up Iran? Remember Biden came in and called Saudi Arabia a pariah state and limited arm sales to them, the ones that were fighting the Houthis. “Joe Biden has been wrong on nearly every matter concerning foreign policy and national security for the last 40 years”. - Robert Gates. The Iranians are staring down some desperation. When I was recently on the ground in the area it was common discussion in the circles I was operating. The main impetus for these actions is those Abraham Accords, the Iranians fear it....they hate it....the prospect of peace is something they abhor. Part of the reason Biden has been trying to buy them is to stave off these actions..... and Biden at al has been promising to not pursue the Abraham Accords to further appease them, which is not a problem for the WH as they elevate the denial of a win to Trump over the lives of people in the region....
