My first concert was The Who at Shea Stadium in 1982. I was 13. David Johansson and The Clash were the opening acts !! Went with my dad and uncles and cousins.

Sadly next concert with my father was Dio at the Meadowlands and he passed away the next day. 1985.  😢

This was an easier assignment when they used to mail you actual concert tickets

Damn. Sorry bro. I was with my buddies and they came to pick me up to go see DIO I’m MS. My cool Pops came out to say. hello to everybody and saw the ice chest full of Budweiser. I wasn’t going to see DIO. They got into a semi bad accident on the way home. Thanks Dad.

Mail??? Ticket Master was on the second floor I& Lakeside Mall. We drink all night and be first in line at the entrance which didn’t open till 9:00. Didn’t mean you would be first. When they opened the doors you had to run the escalator backwards. The fastest would go. Good times.

Ok. Of those, I saw Metallica. Guarded a door of all things in a small venue with Metal Church opening. Saw America. Both of those in Canada. Would have loved to seen Kansas in their prime. Leftoverature. My favorite song The Wall.

I was at a Gogo's concert, Jethro Tull, Tom Petty, The Clash (barely got out of that alive), James Taylor (partied with them after the show), Three Dog Night in Winnipeg (didn't even know they were going to be there. Same with America),  Some others I'm sure I forgotten a few minutes after I was there.
