Ran across a herd of tarantulas crossing the trail while 4 wheeling out to my fishing spot on the verde river years ago.

Now that would be cool. I would love to pick one up. Not scared of them. Just scared to be bitten

Whereabouts is the spot?  We did the Verde RR twice in the past few months (super cool and informative train ride) and we love the Cottonwood area (starting to itch for some land up there).

Between horseshoe and Bartlett lake. Indian springs road. It's been closed for years now.

I've never actually had Arizona Dessert.

What is that? Churros? Cinnamon Fry Bread?

Meh, like a bee sting. I had one crawl all over me at a pet store once.
