I remember Obama & I was pretty upset at the time over his inaction on Iran when they rose up, but at least he & his administration spoke up for democracy.

Yeah. Let’s forget that Trump bombed the Fock out of them. Obama should get the CMOH for speaking up.

I’m not saying she’s in Tehran (though actually aside from the revolution it was largely untouched by the US & Israeli attacks). I’m just saying snow making it not Iran isn’t sensible.

While trumps ice team is killing innocent Americans, he continues to ignore is own promise to help those innocent people in Iran.  At least a woman is taking a stand, she is blessed not to be living in the US, trump would have executed by his ice team.

In the US, it’s now murder to protest. Shame.

Thanks. Yes it does snow in Iran. As I mentioned above Daily Mail has identified the woman as being from Toronto.

Iran medics describe hospitals overwhelmed with dead and injured protesters

>>>

Staff at several hospitals in Iran have told the BBC their facilities are overwhelmed with dead or injured patients, as major anti-government protests continue.

A medic at one Tehran hospital said there were "direct shots to the heads of the young people, to their hearts as well", while a doctor said an eye hospital in the capital had gone into crisis mode.

Two of the medical workers who spoke to the BBC said they treated gunshot wounds from both live ammunition and pellets.

On Friday, the US repeated that killing protesters would be met with a military response. Iran blamed the US for turning peaceful protests into what it called "violent subversive acts and widespread vandalism".

….

The protests began in the capital Tehran a fortnight ago over economic hardship.

They have since spread to more than 100 cities and towns across all of Iran's provinces. Hundreds of protesters are believed to have been killed or injured, and many more detained. BBC Persian has confirmed the identities of 26, including six children.

Members of the security forces have also been killed, with one human rights group putting the number at 14.

BBC Persian has verified that 70 bodies were brought to Poursina Hospital in Rasht city on Friday night. The morgue there was at full capacity, so the bodies were taken away. The authorities asked the relatives of the dead for 7 billion rials (£5,222; $7,000) to release them for burial, a hospital source said. …<<<

Iran protesters tell of brutal police response as regime lashes out

>>“We’re standing up for a revolution, but we need help. Snipers have been stationed behind the Tajrish Arg area [a wealthy neighbourhood in Tehran],” a protester in Tehran told the Guardian via sporadic text messages sent via Starlink. The protester said many people had been shot at across the city, adding: “We saw hundreds of bodies.”<<

>>>The Iranian Nobel peace prize-winner Shirin Ebadi warned on Friday that security forces could be preparing to commit a “massacre under the cover of a sweeping communications blackout”, and said she had already received reports of hundreds of people being treated for eye injuries at a single Tehran hospital.<<<

Right, it would be nice if Clooney’s human rights lawyer wife spoke up just about now.

I agree there. But also a ‘head of the snake’ strike like we just saw in Venezuela won’t do it either. Countries like that aren’t a snake, they’re a hydra, the despotism is entrenched & broad. Belarus & Georgia have gone through similar mass protests, & the regimes still stand.

The Lord is returning very, very , very soon.  Amen.
