See, when reviewing the resumes of applicants, you can't really tell what race they are. You might be able to figure it out based off the name on the resume, but you don't know for a fact. So you invite the most qualified to come in for an interview. If they interview well, you add that to their qualifications listed on their resume and decide which candidate best fits your needs. For responsible business owners, race never come into play. 

Only racists decide whether or not to hire someone based on the race of the individual.
