Agree with this.  I believe the cop was a dlck. I think many times when this happens they dont want to admit they were wrong/mistaken.  So they double down. I am all for patrolling and possibly questioning at crackhead hour.  Not sure why the guy needs to have ID while walking around thr block in gym shorts.  Run his name and the address he gives you, ask the kid if hes good and tell them to have safe morning.

walking around in an alley at 5am with neck tattoos and a lil kid is suspicious to me

If that guy was walking around your house at 5am with or without a little kid wouldn't that at the very least raise eyebrows and a bit of "What the fock is that dude up to", questioning in your head?
