If the low information crowd on either side of the political aisle doesn't have the sense to research 'information' they see on Facebook that sounds a little out there, I say Fock em.

I don’t know why anyone would want somebody else to decide what is misinformation. As we know from the past things that were labeled misinformation or found to be true and thanks that were labeled or found to be false.

people have to get off this "ministry of truth” kick. 👍

PRIME example: Galileo. Dude was ostracized and imprisoned cause he spoke facts that the earth revolved around the sun. Just cause the majority thinks it’s misinformation doesn’t mean it actually is. I don’t EVER want ANYONE to be the judge on what’s classified as “misinformation”

I’ve seen some extremely unsettling things people are getting arrested on going to jail for. Retweeting something will land you in jail over there now

Yep. Take a look at history and it NEVER is a good thing to have ppl tell you what isn’t true. Free thinking and free speech is the only way

Paragraph #2

Wednesday's shutdown, which Meta announced earlier this year, has been protested by researchers and nonprofits. In May, dozens of groups, including the Center for Democracy and Technology, the Digital Forensic Research Lab at the Atlantic Council, Human Rights Watch and NYU’s Center for Social Media & Politics, sent a letter to the company asking that it keep the tool running through at least January so it would be available through the U.S. presidential elections.

Everything we need to know in 2 sentences.

No tax on tips was Kamala's idea and she is going to follow through with it. And the border is secure also.

She's also ahead in ALL of the polls by 5000 points.

Also, she didn't sleep her way to the top her entire career.

Did you guys hear that Trump just stole Kamaleon's idea of no tax on Social Security? He is such a devil.

Canada doesn't even let their citizens read articles on FB; they censor so much now. Not sure if that's better or worse than just letting people spread whatever they want. Take ALL of the info away? Or let people post whatever.

Always best to let people post whatever they want IMHO. You can always choose to ignore content from certain sites/posters. I subscribed to one of my states most popular newspapers (online version) for 8 years. Enjoyed the comments every bit as much as the articles. The comments became so overly censored, I canceled my subscription.
